  1. There's pros & cons to each, in my opinion. But like lennythenose said, it comes down to personal preference. I prefer the physical cards. Just something about having them in hand (not a paper printout) that makes me more comfortable. The card data imprinted on that card feels safe, as opposed to an e-card floating around on a server somewhere. I have a couple e-cards sent to me in March from a cancellation, and every time I check them, there's a part of me that's a bit paranoid I'm going to see a zero balance because of a glitch or something. 😆 I know it's not likely to happen, but still. On the other hand, bypassing that shipping fee and instant delivery is a huge pro for e-cards. That and from what I've been seeing from several other people, it seems as if they've finally got the kiosks on all (most?) ships to accept the e-cards. I've never got them to work in the past, so that's a big deal and makes it much easier.
  2. Same here. At the rate we cruise, I have enough points right now to last us 15-20 years. And until the policy changes, we can't cruise now anyway, so they just keep building. When the time comes, I think I'll just share the points/discount with people who go with us. We've already done that a couple times with our son's friends, but heck, I have more than enough to share with an entire family.
  3. They're awful stingy with the points, even when it's just 50. I think the games were a good idea, but not being implemented very well.
  4. I didn't know the memory game gave points. I'll have to remember that, thanks. I did win 200 points from Scratch & Win today. First time that game's given me anything.
  5. Are you using an iPhone? If so, what version of iOS do you have installed? The Allstate app requires iOS 13 or higher. I know that if you're OS isn't updated to at least that point, apps that require it will just keep giving you the option to download.
  6. My son got to play for the first time on our last one, too. He was excited...until he lost $50 on slots, realized it wasn't as exciting as he imagined, and said he'd never do it again.
  7. Yep, keep feeding the house! 😆 If it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. That's why I typically stay away from the casino. The most I've ever won (it wasn't on a cruise) was $17. LOL I worked on a riverboat casino once upon a time. I tell people the only way for me to walk away from a casino with their money was to work for them. 😜 Maybe that was my problem, I didn't play these games every day. I just don't think about it. I played the scratch & win a little while ago, and lost of course, but then it said that we're supposed to get 2 chances every day. It only game me one. They're very buggy. **Correction: I went back to the scratch & win and it did let me play (lose) again. I thought the second chance would pop up automatically.
  8. I missed what happened, but back when I was a regular on the rest of the Carnival forum, BlerkOne was one of a small handful of users who started trouble with people all the time. If you do a member search, there's 5 different iterations of that username, BlerkOne being the primary. I assume the rest are his alternates. People like that are why I stopped frequenting the forum, it became such a toxic place. The same troublemakers day in & day out. They need to be permanently banned. It's a shame one of them has decided to start that crap in this thread, but let's hope we've seen the end of it.
  9. Oh wow, it worked. I didn't think it would since I've been on Rewards for 5 years and thought surely I would've used that code by now. Thank you. I've had horrible luck with the spin game. After I don't know how many spins, I've only ever won 50 points. In the beginning, it only had ONE game over slot (or whatever it was) and it would always spin just fast enough to get back around to it or slow down perfectly to hit it. The last time I played, which has been a while, they added a second spot like that. We were supposed to be able to play that game once/day, but it didn't always show up for me. I think these games are a good idea, but in my experience, they're poorly executed. I mean, they'll give us codes that are worth 1k-5k points, but are stingy with the instant win points, c'mon. But now that I've seen some of you winning gift cards, I'm thinking it's just my terrible luck getting the best of me, as usual. LOL
  10. 2022 is how much is costs to gas and go these days. Allstate is taunting us. 🤣 😭
  11. If you're not an Allstate policy holder, you can still use Rewards, but have to sign up through the app before being able to use the website. In the app, you have to choose the "Drivewise Only" option for non-policy holders. Let us know if you need a hand.
  12. Yeah, they usually arrive in a week, give or take. Maybe give them a call to see what's going on. 1-800-642-2609 Are you talking about dividing the gift card between multiple S&S accounts? Or if ober134 already answered your question, don't mind me. 😉
