  1. BTW, I needed surgery at home for and my insurance company just asked how it happened and the cruise line and said they would take care of everything and nothing more needed to be doe on my part.

Never heard another word about it or had any charges out of pocket.  Presuming the insurance  company perhaps attempted to be reimbursed by RCL but don't know what happened from then on.

That I don't know. I assume we, as passengers, take responsibility for any injuries we sustain participating in activities?

I broke my arm on the Anthem going to the gym and did not get charged for treatment.  (xrays, medication, rechecking and recasting until end of cruise.  Was told when injured on the ship there were no charges. That's my experience from 6 years ago and never was charged a penny. Seems the charges would be billed before debarkation, but policies change frequently I'm sure and from ship to ship.

How do you I request medical records for treatment onboard Anthem. They were not given to us when we left. I have completed the form they sent but nothing seemed to happen If we are unable to claim back from insurance we will have to sell the house to pay the bills off.

I too needed medical records from medical on Symphony.  They were brought our stateroom before we disembarked.  Received reimbursement from our cruise insurance. I also wanted for my personal medical record at home.  Glad I was simplified for me.  Hope you can get the documentation you need.

  4. Have not seen dogs at cruise port but the last 2 times we got off in Cozumel, there were dogs checking before you got in to the cruise port area, but not when we left to get back on the ship.

There was a drug sniffing dog about a year ago at the Miami airport going up and down the line where

passengers were lining up to drop luggage.

A few months there was a dog in the concourse where passengers were boarding. Stayed in that area

a long time although the impression I was getting that it was training either for the dog or handler.

Did not approach or question obviously, just my impression compared to other times seeing dogs

    work with their handlers.

People are reporting behavior that negatively impacted their experience. Doesn't mean they are bigoted as some replies suggest.

    Exactly

They most definitely were in the WJ. There was a kosher area for them and the Kosher food supervisor was there with his name tag displayed as that.  They ate off disposable dishes, etc.  Have no clue if considered kosher or not, but that's what the signs said. Quit criticizing events you have no clue about.

Hi all, I recently won a royal up to a 1 bedroom grand suite on Oasis. It's suite 8254. I didn't even know there were rooms on the 8th floor. We are close to Chops. Has anyone stayed on the 8th floor, is it noisy?

The 8th floor is the one we prefer.  Goes right out to Central Park.  Can walk down 2 flights to the gym.

We always book this floor midship on Oasis class.  Never been bothered by noise.

Mine were in my cabin when I arrived. I didnt like the smell. Maybe like coconut which I'm allergic to. I used them but i liked the brand a week earlier on oasis better. The lotion didnt soften at all. .. I know it was free ... but I wasnt crazy about them.

I loved the L'Occitane bathroom amenities. Not excited about the recent ones.

I'm travelling on Symphony this summer and it will be my first time on an Oasis class ship. I've watched some gym tours on YouTube and seen all the machines but I haven't noticed if there are dumbbells and/or kettlebells? Can anyone confirm or deny please? Thanks!

Yes, free weights and machines with cable type weights.  Don't remember seeing kettle balls, but didn't specifically look either. There are mats and there's an adjacent room where they have stretching and other classes too.  Symphony and Wonder gyms very well equipped, IMO.  They also have 2 rowers which I personally like in addition to all the other machines.  Other types of exercise bikes too.  I believe there was a stair climber but can't remember for sure as didn't use it.

    Hello All,

Four in our group will be using the gym daily. Is it difficult to access space and machines, ellipticals, treadmills, etc in the 8:30am timeframe? Thanks!

Never had an issue using the gym in January.  I usually went a little earlier than 8:30, so that may be why.

The gym pretty well equipped so something should be available .  There are treadmills on both sides of the gym ,ellipticals lots of weight machines .

  10. I am Diamond Plus at 340 points.  Called C&A yesterday to select a tote bag as one of our amenities on our next cruise.  Response: Those have been discontinued"

Really, 3 weeks later no tote bags, only toiletry bags ?  Amazing or business as usual ?  Will be surprised if my current selected amenities make it to our stateroom.

Guess I can keep calling at intervals and see if anything changes.  We don't sail until next March so maybe the supplies will ramp up or something .  LOL
