Is the Stowaway Piano Player still a thing?  I haven't seen any pictures or comments posted of the player lately, not since COVID.  I wonder if the entertaining activity has fallen victim to COVID/"sustainability" and many other things.  I only experienced it once on the Symphony, years prior to COVID. although we did see/hear him elsewhere at times.  Completely surprised when we got on an elevator and bam, there he was.  We enjoyed singing along and listening to jokes and it was just a great quick getaway from the usual.

On Wonder in January, Saw him several times

  2. I personally only go into the building which at one time, and maybe still is called Carlos' Market.

The vendors in there are way less aggressive or not aggressive at all.  I do my shopping there.

When we were there I noticed a lot of things made by Haitian women I bought.  Potholders,

aprons, etc.  They had their tags and pictures on them and were called Women of Milot Entrepreneurial Network.  The tags say made in Haiti, so guess hope that is true anyway.  In past years have elected not to run the gauntlet of the vendors up and down the hill.  Even in the open doorways of Carlos' they try

to talk to you and get you to come to their kiosks.  It's too bad they can't be made to understand that f they would just let people browse without overwhelming them, they would perhaps be more successful.

That's my opinion and how I feel.  Find most anything I want in the building.  Have been to Labadee many times .

  3. We were just on the Wonder and our meals were much faster than in the past.  Really helps when ypu

have a show scheduled. A couple times we asked for baked potatoes instead of rice and they brought

it with no problem. We found the menus to be doable, although ate at Izumi one night and WJ another

night.  We had Mason Jar Brunch and our 5 pm dinner time was too soon as we were still full.

If you get the opportunity do the Mason Jar.  It was fabulous.  We didn't do the dinner, only the brunch which was so much we couldn't eat it all.

Yeshiva week cruise with venues closed for Kosher dining.

We were on the same cruise and agree this group was rude and obnoxious.  While they were in the music hall a lot there were still other shows in there.  This group let their kids run amuck and they were all loud and noisy.  At the aqua show they kept running up to where the divers were performing and messing around.  Their parents apparently don't know how to raise mannerly children.  They also took over Sorrento's and moved chairs and tables wherever they felt like even if it blocked other peoples views, like during the parade.  Very ill mannered people and it is not a good reflection on this group IMO.  Whenever we saw this group we went the other way as they were very unpleasant. Hope to never have to cruise with them again.

  5. Any recent cruisers to Nassau in last couple months able to update status of the new cruise port ?  Is it doable for me to take my husband by w/c to the port area

like other ports (St Thomas, etc) and just shop and look around without doing an excursion or is this not complete yet ?  Haven't been there for years and wondering

    if worth getting off.  TIA
