Lajes Field is the Air Force Base, it is a shared facility between the Portuguese and US. It also shared the runways with the commercial air port. Like many bases, it has been severely reduced. I was stationed there in '74 & '75 with one of two small Navy Detachments there. The Army also had some support people there. The Navy & Army are no longer there. The WC stopped there as the last stop before Fort Lauderdale. Despite being with a retired AF (who had also been stationed there) we were unable to access the base to see what still remained there.

iPad using both Chrome and Safari works. Interesting how different combinations work. It might help to make sure that everything on the user end is updated. My Windows versions on both machine are the home, not pro, versions

I just went into Chrome again on Win10. I got a message that it had been updated and it now shows the PDF option. Checked Firefox, it updated as well but no PDF

Interesting, I was using an up to date version of Chrome (I believe) on my Win10 and it didn't. Also, the Win11 experience is closer to a table and is different than the Win10 experience. My Android tablet with Chrome also shows the PDF

I just did some quick checking. The pdf selection does NOT appear with any browser on a computer using Windows 10. The pdf selection does appear with Windows 11 on Firefox and Chrome, but NOT Edge The pdf selection does appear with Linux on Firefox and Chrome. Those are the only combinations I can check.

It has been on the App for quite a while. I think it was added to the website within the last couple of months.

It takes a bit of time for the pdf to appear, and I believe 2 weeks is about the time frame.

If you log into your account on the Holland America website and go to Already Booked, then My Account, then My Cruise History you will find all your cruises. Each one will have a link to your final statement as a pdf. Click on that to view or download. If you were on a linked BTB, the statement will be attached to the first of the linked cruises. The approach you took in the previous response should work as well

Gift Cards - Kroger vs AARP I generally buy gift cards from the AARP web site now, but have been buying some from Kroger since they started selling them a couple of years ago. In July I had purchased my limit of 5 AARP gift cards and noticed that Kroger also sold Delta gift cards. I purchased $1K in Delta gift cards on a 2x day and have received $60 off on gas purchases this month. Not quite as good as AARP, but still nice. This month I managed to get a $500 gift card on a 4X day, so the same number of fuel points and I expect to duplicate the $60 savings on fuel next month so a little better than AARP. Every little bit helps!

Less than 10 miles from my home, and pretty much on the way anywhere, is the main post office for this area. It is a one stop shop for Passports. They will take your picture, check your documents, sell you a money order if needed, place everything in a priority envelope, and mail it off. I don't think they charge much for the photo, but it is basically a package price.
