  1. Thanks jabber.  Wasn't asking that, but thanks..for $2200 total I don't believe I can go wrong.

It's 287 sqft with a seperate sitting area...just the room alone is a good deal for $2200..and I'll use the steam rooms everyday. They are big enough.

More target marketing pricing.  Best I can get is 369 pp for the 5 day sailing on 1/3/23.  After taxes, it's just under 1000 for 2 people.

Wow..we have a celebration spa suite on deck seventeen for $2200 total 4 two and were thrilled.

We can't wait too see 820 biscayne and Summer landing.

  3. For our next cruise. She wants to go on symphony or wonder. I noticed from pictures and video that those ships seem to have tons of wasted space.

I mean the middle is gone for around 8 decks it seems...its pretty to look down on but isn't that alot of area that can be used if enclosed?

How are crowd's? It's seems the edges are what's open and central park seems narrow.

    I'm a bit concerned.

  4. could arrive early as possible and use the special line and board extremely quick. i have been on the ship as early as 10:45..

I am aware they now  have boarding slots,  but has anyone experienced delays if you try to do the same now? i was just wondering if i would without a doubt be told to wait.

Thats fine if that is how it is, i just am avid about getting on with it. i will have verifly and hard documents at the ready.

WOW! Your opinion is almost identical to ours after 9 cruises on Carnival and 1 just recently on the Oasis of the Seas (and only RCCL cruise).

    1) There was absolutely a push to use the specialty dining venues. I thought the "included" food was fine, but no way close to what Carnival offers for "included" food, in particular the grab-and-go options. We loved the options available like Park Cafe & Cafe Promenade but the selections offered at them were MINISCULE to say the least. Park Cafe was better than Cafe Promenade, usually offering 3-4 sandwich options, salads, fruit cups, pastries while Cafe Promenade had mabe 2-3 pre-made sandwich offerings and a few pastries and coffees/teas. Sorrentos was better than Carnival in terms of how quickly you could get Pizza, but I find Carnival's pizza way better.

Blue Iguana completely blows away El Loco Fresh on the Oasis, not even close. However, they did have more "options" at El Loco Fresh like tortilla chips, cheese sauce, different pre-made burritos, tacos, quesadillas but the quality was leaps and bounds different. Blue Iguana tastes FRESH made (and is right in front of you) where El Loco felt like a buffet, food sitting out for a while and no customizations and frankly meh in flavor. Oasis had NOTHING compared to Guys Burger; paid or otherwise. Johnny Rocket's is OK but expensive for just a burger craving. The DELI on Carnival destroys Royal.

I will NEVER understand on Carnival or Royal, why is guest services in the middle of the noisiest parts of the ship? So ha

  6. I have been on one rci cruise and it was boring at 9:30 pm and after. They also are constantly pushing extras..I felt nickel and dimed.

Many more charges for food establishments..you literally have to hunt for included food..And the free pizza gets old fast.

carnival mardi gras and celebration are getting close to rci shipwise but kill rci with free quality food, much nicer spa, late hour entertainment.

  7. If u want something sorta kinda like celebrity I would recommend the spa weekly pass. It's not celebrity but still a very good spa.

Specialty dining is a must...breakfast in ocean plaza vs lido is a much better experience..

The aft pool area would be a nice place to hang along with serenity..

Now if u want action go to the main pool..tattoos and tramp stamps galore. Everyone is nice...

If u are sun worshippers there are many loungers not near a pool..

I just checked my cruise manager for pricing for a 4 day cruise on the Magic, and the price is $118 per person.

    That is steep..damn. I was quoted $119 for a 7 day..

  9. I am in a spa suite on the new ship and there is a wardrobe against the wall between the bed and the living area..

It sticks out far and is big..when its on that side of the room and that location it just tightens everything up and u lose flow into the rear of the room toward thr verandah..you also are staring at thr wardrobe as u are in bed..

There is an exact replica of that room available on the Port side that has the wardrobe on the side of the bed nearest the entrance to the room..

We can switch with no fees...it worked out..
