  1. It was around 7 a.m. when I saw it. Just got back yesterday & FTTF was so worth it to me! We bypassed so many people getting into the terminal & debarked approximately 2 hours faster than we would have without it.

my wife has lower back issues and i have a wheelchair waiting at the terminal and fttf..the lady at carnival assured me that we would zip by everyone in line waiting. your experience eases my worries.

  2. Has been changed from 4 stops to 3 stops and also to western ports.

That obviously is understandable but I don't understand why it's now a 6 day and not 7 day..carnivals site says 6 days..doesn't seem to compute..

There has to be tons of flights scheduled for a 7 day cruise.

    Any info would be appreciated..

  3. isnt this like me buying an olive garden $50 gift card and using it on myself when i can just forego buying the card and just pay $50 for the meal?

I dont see the advantage..i do see the advantage if someone knew i was cruising and bought 2 gift cards for me to apply towards my cruise..what am i missing?

  4. done Carnival and Royal Carribean. Without a doubt Royal Caribbean looks to take your money in slick ways. Carnival is cut and dried. I thought i was getting something at no cost on RCI and all i heard was "seapass please"..

Best example was very first morning aboard at breakfast. i walked into the windjammer and they had fresh squeezed oj that the staff was happily handing out. I took an oj and heard "seapass please" thats $1.75..i put it down and walked away.

Then there is the upcharge on more things. Im sorry but if im paying $2000 for my wife and i on a ship i dont want to feel nickel and dimed all week. That would only get worse on Bigger ships. Of course, more dining options would be added, but at what cost to the cruiser?

  5. but, the luggage was ON the ship, did they get to the ship 1/2 hour before departure? Sorry but this makes no sense. Get an officer or security person, and retrieve the luggage. Most people arrive several hours early. This is why we never leave U.S. soil without a passport which is either in my computer bag or my wife's purse.

if they had a passport like you, i would bet it would be in thier luggage.:o
