Thanks everyone. I'll just see if I can switch to another room, that is in same class that is on the other side of the ship.  I think they will accommodate me for the chunk of change I spent.

When booking my spa suite I have since found that the picture they provide of the suite  doesnt match at all with what my cabin actually looks like.

I feel this is absolutely dishonest. Will carnival help me with this? I wouldn't have booked the room if I'd known what it actually looks like.

This is a classic Case where the internet photos don't match what the room actually looks like..not remotely close.

There is not a single photo of that big closet next to the bed..the photos are of the wide ss...

Imo, the room is ugly but the deck is outstanding...I'm not happy and am glad the price dropped $1800...that makes it passable.

wife and i booked  2024 week on the celebration in room 17293..its a spa suite with a balcony that hangs out more than the rest..we paid $4100 for the week including insurance.

3 days later i saw the price drop to $2250 with insurance. we took the $1800 savings and booked a 6 day bermuda out of norfolk on the magic for 2023..that suite was $2000 with sale..so for $200 more than our original price we have 2 weeks instead of 1. Im super happy.

my wife is dying to take her woozoo. i think the dimensions are within limits but i wonder if the base will knock it out..

What idiots would pay this fee? No way I'd ever sail if I had to go through that.

the buffet serving line may even be quicker since they wont pile the plates so damn high. i swear some of the cruisers ive seen dont realize you can go back through the line or are just lazy.

The new ships all have an "ocean plaza" that goes through the center of the ship and has lots of entertainment. an added bonus for me is that the ocean plaza is empty in the morning but has a small breakfast selection of cereals, toast, grits, eggs..etc...i found it by accident and it was a dream for me to eat in complete peace and basically have my own personal server.

Saying that, does the Legend have any place that would be similar? I loathe eating on the lido deck with hundreds and hundreds of folks and i am just ok with going to the dining room.

If u eat on the lido deck make sure it's a down time..people will see your full glass, silverware and food and just move it and take your table..

They are $30...get there no more than 1 hr after 1st tender..they go fast.

If you are going on a ship that has a tastexbar i recommend going there..i ate fruit loops and l charms. Daily..the boy came out in me..

We just got those $30 sun shells..that was awesome because the sun . I did see villas by pool in the dr...those looked awesome..

They raved about the bread and i thought the mdr hard rolls were better..pasta was ok..

Ever about 2/3 thru my cruise last week...im sure it was a combination of the weather change and my wifes blasted fan that she just cant live without..

Now, its a week later and im sick..missed 3 days of work..

Dazzles was crazy crowded and no other place to try to dance and drink on last Harmony cruise, they really need to have a couple of top deck dance parties on each 7 night cruise barring rain. They are trying to attract young people who will book again right? The ship shouldn’t shut down at 11 or 12.

Was just there last week..if you walk 100 yards down the beach you see damage...beach itself is pristine except for the area that is near margaritaville.

Wasnt impressed with cucina...i went at lunch when it was free.

No big deal..they just say snoozin on both sides...was on the.magic for a week and never saw my steward.

Old..lol..the dream is awesome.

Ty....obviously rci doesnt cater to this type of thing..which is fine, of course.

carnival kills rci in one aspect..spa facilities..carnival has a free locker room for men and women that has upgraded showers, bathrooms and a double sinks..all etched in a marble look. i never took a shower in my room all week. i was on the magic.

just got off the magic..we saw our cabin steward twice..he was kind of an *******. not friendly at all..i have been on multiple carnival cruises and usually look forward to meeting the cabin steward. that was a true dissapointement..
