This stupid light! First time on Princess, and it keeps turning itself on randomly throughout the night!
Makes me question my next booking.

Haven’t yet! Today is day 1!

How/where can you see which MDRs are open for breakfast/lunch, and what times?
The pamphlet only shows dinner times. On the Majestic currently. Thanks!

Seems as if these are getting harder and harder to come by with the new ship designs. ☹️
Aren't these right above the crew smoking area on Princess ships?

If you are onboard, you can buy Future Bed Credits. Which will expire in 6 months.
Ahh same arrangement as I have with my wife, then!

Not surprised, next we will have to make our own beds!
Not until you buy the bed making license!

I would think a bottle of port is going to appear to be just another bottle of wine and probably wouldn't be detected nor run afoul of the carry-on policy. They may see sherry as a liquor. In any case, if you have it with you, the WORST that can happen is they will keep it to end of voyage. It's not going to be confiscated and enjoyed by the security staff.
Now I wonder about barleywine... lol

We are staying in an Luxury All Suites Hotel in Santorini Greece after our Apex cruise this month. It is rated 4-5 star with included breakfast and afternoon appetizers brought to our private terrace by a butler. Each suite is around 1000sq ft in size and has a private hot tub or plunge pool. Our cost is $400 per day or $200pp.
Geez now you have me googling for this paradise! You should be in sales.

The value just isn't there anymore with Celebrity. You're paying Oceania price for near-Royal Caribbean quality. I can pay less for Princess and get more out of it, or I can pay the same for Oceania and get a lot more out of it.

They are not allowed because of the alcohol content. You would have to smuggle it
What do they do if you bring it onboard without “smuggling”? Just confiscate and return post-cruise?

Turning Elite with Celebrity next March, but for 2025 have decided to give Princess our business for 14 days in the Mediterranean.

Agree with you! Celebrity failed in the execution. A $5 cookie that is big and different from the rest and sharable with DH is something I would have considered buying to go along with my scoop of gelato. It goes back to timing, execution, and communication.
How about a 12” piping hot, Italian-style cookie covered in tomato sauce, pepperoni, and gooey cheese? You know that’s next… -
Thanks for that!

One of our best friends have done over 10 Oceania cruises and they will not sail on any other line.
How strict are they dresscode-wise? I’m never cruising with a jacket.

Now we have gratuitygate. Another sneaky takeaway by Celebrity's wonderful leaders.

Who is naming these hotels??-

I saw! It'll be our first Princess cruise so I'm hoping the MDR is comparable to Celebrity's.

Agree with Terry here. I don't care what it said on paper, in practice the mini fridges were always kept full without batting an eye.

Absolutely. I have no problem rotating between Carnival, Celebrity, and up next - Princess!

I never cared for LLP, but the new CEO has her beat in the outrageous department! She's only a few months into her reign. I can hardly wait to see what outrage is next. Our next booked cruise will likely be our last booking with X if all of these changes stay. Hiking prices and keeping the quality of the product is one thing. Hiking prices and then charging for every little thing is entirely another.😡
Ooh bad news, there's now a Stop Sail fee. You can subscribe to the annual plan which allows you to not sail with Celebrity during a calendar year though!

My main concern with some of the alternatives is their strict rules on dress code. Like c'mon man my jeans cost more than your suit. I wear a suit daily to work, when I'm on vacation I want to relax, not dress like I'm going to the office.
New to Princess and hungry!

Next question - are there supposed to be separate lines for those with table reservations already set vs those without? Seems odd to have a 5pm reservation but need to queue up with folks that do not have one.
