Thank you for your condolences. I dug out the old conifers and replaced all the conifers (22conifers)down the side of our back garden about 20 years ago. My knee and hip arthritis prevents me from trimming them now but we have a great tree surgeon who calls every spring to shape and trim them to the 15 foot height. We have a hedge trimmer that Pauline likes to use on the conifers in our front garden.

That dentist sounds careless and you are doing the right thing by going back to your original dentist and hygienist. I am bringing our Sarah to ours on Christmas Day.
