Good morning. It is 66°F and sunny here at 09.00am. After my steroid injection in my right knee yesterday for the first time in months I woke up pain free in that knee. I still have pain walking up and down stairs but moving better so 🙏🤞

Wow that is not much for a select booking with a £500 difference between a guarantee balcony. Is there an alternative date you could cruise with a better price? I was offered a similar deal yesterday with a £500 price difference between guarantee balcony and select on Iona for a 14 night new year cruise on Iona with £120 on board credit but declined.

I'm really sorry you had this Heathrow nightmare Sharon. A lot of airline crew and airport staff were laid off due to the pandemic then suddenly in the UK all flight restrictions were lifted and there is a massive shortage of staff because they found new jobs elsewhere so until new staff can be found to cope with a massive demand there will be problems. We have been on Iona twice and have another booked on her. How much On Board Credit have you been offered? We have £500 on our next and £480 on our last Iona cruise although some are only £120 on board credit. The deck 8 balconies are terrible(pictured) for privacy and it would be a very good chance you would end up in one with little chance of changing cabin once it is allocated to you. P&O excursions will be offered to you closer to the cruise date. Our first cruise was on deck 10 balcony and second deck 14 balcony and were fantastic. Graham

In England each prescription item is £9.35 about $12. For over 60s prescriptions are free. All prescriptions in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are free for everyone.

It feels a lot better now but doctor said to give it a few weeks and if everything is okay he will do the other knee.

Good afternoon from a hot 80°F back garden in North East England. Thank you for today's fleet reports and Daily Rich and Roy for today's lists. I have an appointment later to get a steroid injection in my right knee. A good selection of days. I know a lot of intelligent people who are happy and some unintelligent people who are miserable so don't agree with Hemingway's quote. Today's food sounds delicious but I have not heard about the wine. We prefer a sparkling white and Sauvignon Blanc but never drink red wine.
