Beamish is about 12 miles from us and we have been several times. Last time we were there was pre covid and when you pay your entrance fee if you give your name and address you get a 12 month free pass for future visits. I hope you and Frank are well Avril. Graham

I'm pleased to hear you both got home safely Sandi. That was an awful ordeal you had at Heathrow. Lots of British people are experiencing this daily at Heathrow. We usually fly from our local airport Newcastle and like most regional airports they are a lot easier than Heathrow. I hope you get your knee issue sorted and the foot and leg swelling is a one off after all the standing around then a long flight. We both felt tired for a few weeks after our covid infections.
