We have just booked a cruise with Oceania for 2024 which is our first with this company and awaiting all the necessary paperwork. We were wondering what the different prices for each excursion meant. Tour price. Simply more excursion price. Unlimited price. Also Oceania Select Excursion. Also, we have £1,000 onboard excursion credit in total. When we chose to book any of the excursions, possibly before we travel, will payment be taken from the cruise credit we have been given? Thank you in advance for any replies.

Does anyone know the reason for the above cruise “Sheiks to Shrines” 23 days which commences in Abu Dhabi 22/12/2024? We have just received an email giving no explanation other than “ for the safety and well-being “ of our travellers. i can understand that UAE is currently being omitted from itineraries as of this year but our cruise does not depart for another 12 months! We will be ringing first thing tomorrow but just wondered if anyone has heard anything or has had a similar email….

We are aiming to book our first cruise with Oceania, we have been on a number of cruises over the years so know what we like/prefer when it comes to cabin choices. We would appreciate any suggestions as to which deck/ cabin you would recommend. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Denise T, we’re doing a cruise in 2 weeks time with similar itinerary and so looking forward to it, hoping for chances to see plenty of wildlife too. I would be interested to know if Skagway is fully operational now after last years landslide as we have an excursion while in port too. Really enjoying your travel log, looking forward to any info that would be useful to us too. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if travellers have received notification or are aware of these changes but we have received an email from Cunard, 2 weeks after we paid our balance, notifying us of changes to our itinerary due to ‘operational issues’ Juneau June 22nd has been removed completely and replaced with Sitka which we were due to visit June 25th. June 25th will now be Endicott Arm ( which we had never heard of) will be a cruise-by. Our trip to Mendenhall Glacier and Whale watch is now a no-go, thankfully booked through Cunard so expecting a full refund but we were really looking forward to the experience. This now gives us 3 days together cruising- by Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay and Endicott Arm plus the original 2 sea days 21st +28th. This is not the cruise we booked! Would like to know what ‘operational issues’ really means.

We are on Alaska cruise with Cunard Queen Elizabeth in June with a Rocky Mountaineer and land tour including 3 days in Vancouver. we just wondered if the “jacket every night” still applies to our cruise, thanks in advance

It’s been awhile but back to a winter cruise….Caribbean in February. I can’t find how much the speciality dining will cost, previously it was ££p.p. I would appreciate some info many thanks in advance
