  1. This ship is a little too subdued with regards to entertainment, especially for my twenty- one and twenty- four year old DDs. The staff have been great but in some ways I feel like I’m on a HAL ship.😬 The Navigator next month should be more fun for my DD.
  2. We actually paid a little less than you did. Three months ago the price tripled! Crazy. We did not have any issues with bugs. Luckily.
  3. Perfect Day at Coco Cay! The balloon ride was open too! Fabulous views up there.
  4. Yes it was. If I had children with me yes I’d do it again. Otherwise, I’d just chill on the ship.
  5. After dinner we went duck hunting, listened to music in the aft lounge then hit the disco for a bit. Towel critters 😍
  6. Dinner at Chops. The ribeye was superb! It’s a lot of meat though. We could have split it.
  7. It had to happen. We have become duck hunters. It really is a ton of fun! My DD and I are on the August 4th Navigator cruise and plan on bringing and hiding ducks. 😂
  8. The sun came out and we jumped into the Lazy River. So fun! Our drinks got annihilated in the huge wave that got us.😂
  9. Breakfast then headed out on our excursion at Baja Mar. Nice cabana. All was going well, we had our drinks and were ready to hit the lazy River then BAM! Major downpour! Lucky we have the cabana!
  10. I know right? It always happens that at but we are having a blast.
  11. We saw the magician who was great but parents allowed their children to heckle him and talk throughout the show - 9:15 show BTW - which was a distraction. A parent behind us even allowed his daughter to climb over the seats 🙄Control your kids parents. We did. Now we are waiting to see the adult comedy show.
  12. Tonight we hung out in the suite lounge and had some great drinks. Then it was Giovanni’s for dinner. The filet did not disappoint!
  13. They have closed the upper decks due to winds but honestly it is not that windy to warrant closing the decks. Our NCL Prima cruise in May to Bermuda was windier and they never closed the decks except perhaps the bow. We managed to find chairs on the promenade. My view RN.
  14. After dinner we caught the show which was Meh IMO, and went to the disco. The DJ needs to play newer songs, perhaps from this century or even decade! 😂 The bartenders are wonderful though!
  15. So yeh, we had dinner at Chops. There are limited specialty restaurants onboard and Giovanni’s was closed for lunch yesterday. I had the lobster which I do not recommend. It was mushy which I hate! Def not worth the extra fee. All of the other food was great!
  16. We walk from Horseshoe Bay to Grotto Bay. There are different coves and beaches that you can walk through as you go. It takes about 30 min if you are walking leisurely. So pretty.
  17. Lunch at Chops. Giovanni’s was closed so lunch and dinner at Chops. Best mushroom soup ever. Yum!
