  1. I then decided to convince my husband that maybe we should try the Haven. They have a nice pool and 2 hot tubs. and a beautiful sundeck. But kids playing football in the pool is not my idea of a Haven. There should really be an adults only time during the day and evening as the OP stated.

Do you mean the boys having fun on their vacation, that were told (and listened) that if an adult came into the pool they needed to stop playing and let them enjoy the pool without being splashed?

  2. OMG you are going to LOVE it!!! I can answer (Hopefully) any questions you have...I have so much to write...lol....

    Thanks so much!!

I have one question off the top of my head, that I think I know the answer to, but will ask anyway for peace of mind ... my 2 sons will each be in their own room within the villa. Will my key card work in all 3 rooms within the villa? I want to be able to get into all 3 rooms with my keycard.

    Thank you!

  3. Maybe you're right.

.In most of the advertising that i saw it showed couples relaxing or in the pool .Maybe i was in denial LOL

i don't remember seeing kids in the pool.Or in the Jacuzzi?? Is there just one Jacuzzi in the Haven?

If they have 2 maybe designate one for kids and the other for adults??

It will be fine~~ i now know what to expect;)

There are 2 hot tubs in the courtyard area - one designated for adults only. Meaning children are allowed in the other one. And one on the upper outside sundeck.

  4. My understanding is that this is for Escape only and was just implemented today (effective immediately). Shoreside concierge wouldn't necessarily know that.

Where did you hear this? Do you think its this weeks cruise specifically and not other ones because of certain behavior this week? This is just the sundeck and not pool area?

  5. I read the same announcement as the OP did, posted by a travel agent.

But TWO, question for you - we'll be on the Epic. Is the Haven-adults-only sundeck on the Epic the Posh beach club, whereas the 'regular' Haven sundeck is for everyone?

I’ve never been on Epic, but have been in Breakaway and Escape Haven’s a total of 5 times and I’ve never had any issues with my son being anywhere in the Haven. I truly hope this is not a new policy.

  6. As far as I know, the Haven sundeck was always for adults only. The Haven pool area is open to families.

I’ve had my son with my on the sundeck, so I’m not sure this is true. Or maybe he was just laying, reading a book or playing Uno with me so no one said anything?

  7. I have done it several times, without issue.

In Dec on the Jewel, I couldn't login, thought I was doing something wrong - waited in line when Internet manager was available on Day 2, turns out internet wasn't available until we left port, could have saved myself time by trying to login more than once - oops

The Bliss had technical issues, so the internet manager did need to manually set up our accounts

    Thanks for your reply!

I think I am going to buy it today! 18 more days til I'm on the Escape!!

  8. I have bought it a couple of times. I can't remember the exact procedure, but it was no problem at all to do.

I have a feeling that last time it just recognised I had the package when I registered onboard.

For the last couple of times I bought it I was certainly able to do it myself without having to get any assistance from the staff. I did go to the internet cafe once to set it up, but from memory that was the first time I had repurchased it, and I just assumed that was required.

    Thanks for your reply!
