  2. Corkage will be charged for each additional bottle of wine brought on after the 1 per cruiser, total of 2 per stateroom. (In other words, if husband and wife each brought a bottle on, they would be free. If hubby brought two on, then corkage would be charged on the second bottle.)[/quote\

this is the rules for either Princess or Holland America or possibly both

  3. I drink quite a bit and I never get the cheers. I find after doing the math that me and the wife do not drink 30 drinks a day and with port days. I usually get a all you can drink excursion or resort. I'm pretty wasted when I get back so I tend to take it easy until like 2 the next day. So it doesn't usually make too much sense for me.

15 is the most you can get with cheers the break even point is 6-7 if you only drink wine and spirit drinks

  4. After 47 cruises, we have always had to have a gov't issued ID to get back on the ship no matter which cruise line you are sailing. This is not a cruise line rule but the country you are visiting mandate. We have only sailed to the Caribbean and Mexico so Drivers License have always worked, not sure about European cruises

  5. At Tables Games you need to ask the pit boss to rate your play to get points, Don't know how much you have to spend to get points. Slots and Video poker points are earned at different rates VP is 1 point is earned and about $1.75

  6. For the best Cognac (Louis XIII @ $3500.00/ bottle) you will only find it in the gift shop on Carnival, but you can get it by the glass on Disney Cruise ships. If you would just like to sip a bit of this magnificent libation on land, The Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel serves a 1/2 ounce pour for $55. This was one of Walt's favorites. Be careful, it might become one of yours too.

Your Response has nothing what so ever to do with answering the OP's Question

  7. A collared shirt and long pants for men are fine for any night in the Steakhouse. As far as the wine goes the 50% off any wine on the list is a much better deal than the free bottle of wine. The free wine that is offered as free would be a $10 bottle of wine in a restaurant on land, Which translates to a $2.50-$3.00 bottle cost to Carnival. Not saying that you will not enjoy the free bottle of wine but 50% off a different bottle of wine that you enjoy more would in my opinion would be better deal.

  8. That steak is called a long bone. I'm a waiter at a place called Farraddays in Colorado. Been there 15 years. It's a 28 day dry aged bone in ribeye. It's awesome. We get them from Lombardi Brothers a few times a year. I always prefer a Filet Mignon but that long bone is amazing. I'll be on the Breeze so I'll pass on the steakhouse. Looking for seafood 24/7.
