Carnival Celebration Nov 1988 St Thomas San Juan and St Martin. Cruises have pretty much the only vacations we've done since then.
-
The Last 2 times on the Triumph there was sports trivia every night in the sports lounge also a morning and afternoon trivia that changed daily
-
Not sure about the Elation but we've been aboard several other Carnival ships and all have had the game on in several bars and lounges including the main theater also available in your cabin on the outdoor screen on lido.
-
Depending on which ship you're on the muster will either be on deck or in a venue, like the dining room or theatre... I really appreciate the ones where we meet in a venue, since I can't stand for that long at once without paying for it in back issues the rest of the cruise.
My wife can not stand for the entire time either so we have been asking for the handicapped area whenever we're on a ship where you are not in a venue where you can sit.

Supply and demand. Why would they give discounts if they don't have to? Cruising is getting more popular than ever.
Ditto! Carnival and the players club does not exist to make you happy. if you do not like the offer just don't accept it and go on with your life.

Thanks I knew there was a sight to look it up but couldn't remember it and knew someone her on CC would know the answer

So, if only one of us buys an drink package, is there any problems with sharing that drink? LOL Has anyone done this before. We are not huge drinkers so buying 2 packages is a bit pricey for us.
Pass the popcorn please

Unless you are platinum or diamond or have purchased FTTF its still a No No

That's one reason not to sail RCCL

Its never been worth the hassle

I'm sorry what's the big deal what the FREE gift is on any particular ship ir sailing. I know its a perk platinum and above but as a platinum I could care less what it is. It is nice to be recognized with a gift no matter what that gift is. Pass the popcorn and flame away.

We were at a open air bar once in St Marteen when 3 people came and sat at the end of the bar discussing their plan of attack to get people involved in their sales pitch

We got a move over offer several years ago moved to a 7 day cruise leaving the next day from the same port. Upgraded to a balcony received a full refund plus paid for the room we stayed in overnight before the cruise plus paid for the flight change coming back. Got to the airport and the flight was overbooked so we changed our flight to 2 hrs later also upgraded to first class plus $300 each in future travel vouchers. The only problem was the balcony they gave us was between a family with teenagers the Kids were on one side of us and the parents were on the other side

There are taxi services available but several years ago only one of the services was allowed to drop off and pick up at the port. Not sure if that is still the case.

If you like a piece of art and are happy with the price you've paid for it, all is good.

Only reason to go to Maho is for the airport. Beach is relatively small and VERY crowded. we were disappointed in the beach so much so we just went to a restaurant and watched the planes land from there

Like the sign on the pier in Antiqua with the arrow pointing the way to the ship with the ship all of about 100 feet from the sign :D

WLHyatt is correct ends at 6am the morning of Departure. Also there is not a total dollar amount limit with cheers only per drink limit.
