It was no issue to do the upgrade on Escape a couple weeks ago. Definitely do it day 1, by day 2 the line of confused people at the internet desk is ridiculous.

Yes Scorpioalon has given you great transportation and shopping info. Also, here is the info for baggage storage at Miami International http://www.miami-airport.com/baggage_storage.asp

I was able to cancel my 3rd passenger after final payment. Was able to change my perk from 3rd passenger free to something else with no issues. Port charges, etc. paid for the 3rd passenger were refunded.

Oh OK. Feeling much better about the automatic donation then. Thanks for clearing this up.
Is this real? Oh UNICEF that’s ok then. LOL good thing no actual research was done in the forming of decisions.

As mentioned up thread there's a lot of bodies needed for craps, and if played correctly a low advantage to the casino as well.
Saying that all the NCL ships I've been on all had craps
Every ship I have been on including Divina (45 cruises across NCL, Carnival, Princess, Celebrity, HAL, MSC) have all had craps. Was on the NCL Escape 2 weeks ago and both craps tables stayed full constantly. I will be so disappointed if this is truly a no craps ship.

When we were on Divina in Sept there was no craps. The tables were taken out. To much $$ risk for the casino and a lot of man power needed. We were told by the casino manager that the Seaside will be the same. No craps. I'll see on Jan 20th
Happy holidays
Safe sailing

Oh my that will be a problem. No craps is kind of a dealbreaker for us. Sounds crazy I know but that is DH favorite part of cruising. He hangs out on the casino and I hang out in the spa. My annual cruise group won’t sail without craps either. Grrrr

Well.. After 90min with united, they changed the flight with no change fee (just flight difference) and another 90min with expedia where United essentially told expedia 'customer is paying, we already waived 1 change fee'
We had 2 separate bookings as originally was just wife and I, then she decided to bring the kids.
Anyways, a simple mistake costs $1300cdn extra and we wont have to rush.
Thanks all for the input.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays!

Sorry you had to face the extra expense but you made the right decision and will be able to enjoy your vacation with much less stress.

Interesting. I didn't realized they separate the two types out. I fly out of MCO as well and have precheck. I've seen the Clear lanes- I assumed they all fed into precheck.
Still, I'm amazed Clear is still around. With Clear costing $179 a year and Global Entry costing $100 for five years, you'd have to flying really frequently to make the savings in time worth the high cost. I've been fortunate with Precheck- I don't think I've spent more than 5-10 minutes clearing security at MCO with it this year (although I am usually not going through at peak times).
Clear partners with Delta which offers discounts so it costs between $0-79 per year depending on status or credit card. Plus I got a deal when I signed up so my husband is on my account free for 3 years so it made a lot more sense for us. We already had global entry so using both is pretty awesome.

FYI- Clear and precheck are two separate lines at MCO. You can use one or the other, but not both.
That is actually not correct. There is a clear line in the middle that you can go through and feed into either the regular or pre-check scanner lanes and another clear line against the wall that you go through and directly into the pre-check scanner lane. I live in Orlando and use them both together, average time through security to the shuttle is under 3 minutes.

Since you no longer have to present a customs form unless you have gone over your limit, the mobile passport app isn’t really that useful at the port anymore.
Oops, yeah, what Vickie said LOL sorry to be redundant

If the 8 seats included the driver and 7 passengers it will be tight as the tours generally have supplied with them like water, brochures, etc. that can easily be tossed in the front seat unless a passenger is there.

Not sure I understand.......apps and main.
Do you mean off the Main restaurant menu ?
If so, did you have to order them in advance ?
I think they mean appetizer/starter and main/entree

We were there the week before last and no taxis wanted to take us to baha mar. They are all pushing paradise island so my guess is that Atlantis is feeling a little heat and offering kick backs to the drivers.
We ended up walking over to the McDonald’s by the Colonial Hilton and took the bus. The bus is definitely an experience but it was fine, the people were friendly, and it took about 15 minutes to get us there. Both the #10 and #12b will take you there from this stop. We took a taxi back, they are waiting at the Baha Mar to bring you back. If you want the taxi to drop you at the Fish Fry on the way back I’m sure they would be happy to. They aren’t always thrilled to go into downtown and it always seems like there may be some sort of drama for non-cruise port taxis to drop at the port.

You and zeta 3 sound like my kind of folks (food quality is actually an important cruise consideration, particularly when it's more than a one week boat ride). You both should really consider an Oceania cruise if for no other reason than the food!

Oceania is definitely on my list to try. So many ships so little time :)

You booked the cruise just for the Tandoor Grill?? Maybe it’s not supposed to be Carolina BBQ. I’ve had BBQ in Texas Tennessee and Carolina and they are all different.

I have chosen a ship over another because it had the Tandoor Grill. Some of the best food available at sea.

Foundwhich shows what definitely appears to be a full sized craps table to the right.
Yes, that does seem to be full sized. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this thread!
I have a casino question. Are the craps tables full size or half size like on the Divina?

There you go folks, Zeta are you giving any discount for CC members?:halo::');p
If I were selling them absolutely. But no, I’m not a vendor I just own a bunch from years of attending tech conferences. Office Depot, Amazon, Walmart all carry them. I actually don’t use a lanyard on a ship even though they do seem to be official cruise wear LOL

We have cruised the first week of December for the past 10 years, normally it is nicely warm to hot. One year we hit a cold front and it was freezing. I’m talking long pants, jackets, hats, and blankets to watch a movie on deck at night.

As somebody previously mentioned we did a private tour in Rome with Rome in Limo and had an amazing time. We also skipped the Vatican and toured the Catacombs instead. We were able to see so much, avoided the crowds, had far less walking (I am still recovering from a broken foot) and enjoyed a lovely sit down lunch all without feeling exhausted at the end of the day.

How would you know they are going through shoes and pockets if you didn't see them and the items were never found?
Are you sure you weren't just chair hogging and the items were removed and placed at the towel hut?

Most cruise lines do actually advertise by the number of nights so 7-nt vs 8-day but most people simply say 7 day as the standard.
