Cherries Jubilee on Coral Princess post covid. The serving was 2 cherries. My jaw hit the floor when I saw it.
Two whole cherries! Wow!

I had the cherries on QM2 some years back. I had Crepes Suzette for the first time on Princess 18 months or so back.
After all those years waiting, I was rather disappointed at how boring the crepes were.
They were delicate and exquisite in QG 2weeks ago on QA.

Not Invergordon, either.

@NSWP any guesses, Les?

Thank you for posting this nostalgic charmer. Crepes Suzette and Cherries Jubilee are still offered on Cunard’s vessels.

Lochiel?
Not Lochiel. Les would guess this in a heartbeat.

Hint: think of a namesake waterway closer to Tassie than this northern home to a proud maritime history.

Yes. Can you name the area of water the image is taken from?

That may well be the case, but tipping at the end is the norm and would not be seen by others as a blatant "bribe".
Those who "bribe" upfront may believe they are gaining an advantage, the reality is they are most likely being taken advantage of by the recipients 😉.
And considered rather tacky in the process.

Lobster is available. Alas I have to look longingly whilst others enjoy it - being shellifsh allergic has that effect (trust me, anaphylaxis is not fun).
No, it certainly wouldn’t be.

Both lobster (thermidor or mornay, etc.) and dover sole were available in QG on QA during our recent British Isles voyage.

The property used for the filming of Kath and Kim is quite near to where we live. The house has been bulldozed and a new one has been built on the block.
It was a breath of fresh air to our locally produced content. Some very clever lines and scenes.

Or is that just a discharge?? 🤣
As Kim would say: suites with toilets are only for effluent passengers.

Correct, @Jean C, well done. Your turn even without nominating “The Three Graces” as the name for (a) Royal Liver Building (b) the Cunard Building, and (c) the Port of Liverpool Building. They stand on Pier Head on Liverpool’s Mersey River. This shot was taken from our balcony on Queen Anne on 3rd June, during her Naming Ceremony. It was a memorable experience.

Hint: a revered waterfront for a home to legends “of note”.
Bonus points for identifying the collective name for these elegant buildings.
