  1. I agree with the $100 pp fee. The OP states the cruise is AFTER FINAL PAYMENT date --- their cruise is in about 3 weeks.. I may be wrong but I believe the change fee and ability to change is only valid prior to Final Payment Date. After that date cancellation fees per a schedule will apply. It varies by length of cruise and country of booking. The OP should have the details on their booking or Cruise Documents. Thus the recommendation of travel insurance.
  2. Asked the other night for someone and these are the Red's she had on hand. Other's available upon request.
  3. As other's have said you might wish to check out the current sailing of your ship to get a better idea of the menu selection. Many of the items you listed are indeed on the menu but.... If I recall all sailing with more than xx number of days now have a lobster night. Currently on Solstice - While I'm in a suite I just looked and on our cruise there are 3 Chic nights and the 3rd - Day 10 they have Lobster
  4. Hotel Director Mario on Solstice went all out for a festive Zenith Lunch this afternoon. This is what makes us feel special.
  5. Just High is she.... LOL. I hope you have wonderful weather for the Japan cruise. That had to be one of our favorites.
  6. We met Catherine and Linda in Michael’s Club on Day 1. Catherine is a CC member but forget her screen name. Don’t they look great for Chic night yesterday.
  7. LOL... Since I have no personal experience in this I trust you.. I'm hoping it was a joke. I have to say.... there isn't much eye candy on this cruise. Male or Female.
  8. I wall warn you. Hawaii is magical and once you go you will have to come back. The best part is unlike the Caribbean it doesn't really get HOT and HUMID. The temps don't change much year round and the trade winds are always blowing back and forth keeping you comfortable.
  9. I've been watching the home weather and looks like the SF Bay area is due to get 1 inch of rain this weekend... VERY WEIRD. By this time of year we should be in our dry season until October. No complaints but weird. Just letting you know - your wife sent me a bribe to post all these pictures... she needs a cruise.
  10. You may be 100% correct. I just used the iPhone i button and that is how they identified them. They did have gold colored flakes on them. There were about a 1/2 dozen of them and the star of the lunch time.
  11. The demographics have really been weird on both cruises. People must want to stay real casual and dine in OVC. Luminae is always empty. This was last night. I had Prime Rib and Iain had the smoked Trout Starter for Dinner. The deserts were weird, but our waiter talked us into trying. I had the Blueberry Mousse, Lemon Curd with Vanilla Frozen yogurt The other sounded terrible we had to try. Raspberry Licorice Cream - maple granola and Milk Chocolate Ice Cream. i b will say the base was a chocolate mousse with a slight touch of licorice. Ice Cream was the star of the dish.
  12. Did something a little different last night. We moved clocks forward an hour and will move another hour tonight. We decided to turn our clocks forward earlier and ended up eating earlier and ..... I stopped by the Theater while Iain had a smoke. Don't get excited.... I just stayed for the first couple minutes... Looked quite high energy but the theater was less than 1/2 full - Production Show - Broken Strings.
  13. Kelley--- thanks for sharing the identity ... I hadn't looked it up yet. Just loved the colors.
  14. I love the feet.... they are so cute. Years back when in Hawaii with my son for 3 weeks he caught a lizard and kept him - catching bugs and feeding him the whole time. At the end of the trip he let him go and said.....see you next trip.
  15. It's a Golden Dust Day Gecko. They are very common on the islands and are great to have around as the eat mosquitos and other bugs. They are very friendly.
  16. Hmmm... saw an interesting post on the FB page... At least they posted anonymously.
  17. Since we enjoyed the Coffee Hut at Captain Cooks so much ---off we were for the 45 minute drive. What a beautiful day do sit on the patio and overlook the ocean with gentle trade winds and the absolute shangi-la no trip is complete without meeting the locals.
  18. At this point we should have turned around. Since the fish pond trail was closed that would have taken us back to the Ranger Station we took the beach root.... Our Navigator (me) thought it was a short circle along the beach back which turned in to the march from he11 across the lunar surface for 1 1/2 hours. Luckily no one stoned me to death.
  19. The star of the day were the sea turtles lounging and nibbling in the tidal pools.
  20. The trail lead us to a beautiful beach and tidal pools. This magnificent site is about 5 miles from the ship near Costco. No
  21. So much tranquility in this sacred place. The wooden boardwalk was installed to preserve the stone carvings.
  22. Our Day2 in Hilo ww started out with a hike at Pi’u Loa Petroglyphs National park Memorial to a fallen Park Ranger Pu’u Loa Petroglyphs
  23. I use one similar but trying to find a time zone 1 hour ahead of Honolulu was proving difficult. It's a time zone 1 hour earlier than Anchorage and On hour later than Honolulu. I did find it finally.
