  1. First stop was the Government Building and a touch of history.
  2. Let’s backtrack to Suva. We took a Tour that @abbydancer2003 arranged with tour by locals. I think think there were 8 of us. Great job Abby. We met our driver and took off to explore Suva. Just a puddle of paint. Ok I’m weird some things just catch my eye had to post a door.
  3. We have heard some good reviews.... Unfortunately we never go to the shows. The timing interferes with Cocktail and Dinner time. We usually meet up with friends at 7:30 and dinner at 8:55. Maybe some night we will have to grab a show.
  4. I was thinking that Apia and Pago couldn't handle more than one ship at a time. Hope it remains beautiful.
  5. Will look for them. It always amazes me on how many passengers are on the ship and depending on ones schedule often never see or meet people that eat early or late. Hau'oli ka La Nani
  6. I will admit I get a lot of comments from it.
  7. I can understand that and have to catch up with posting Suva pictures here. I love CC but they are a little difficult to post videos as I have to first upload to YouTube.
  8. Awoke to beautiful blue skies in Apia. It is 7:32 Am on 4/18 - tomorrow we cross the date line so will have a second Thursday. I think we are just arriving as we have a tug starboard and I can see the thrusters churning away.
  9. I'm not permitted to advertise on CC but there is a link in my signature
  10. They have fresh squeezed juices only in Retreat, Luminae, Blu and Elite and Above Breakfast. They do make juices at the Spa Cafe but the basics all have lots of other things dumped in them.
  11. I think we will be sending you the forecast we are due tomorrow morning April 18th at 0800. Followed by Pago Pago on April 18th-- (next day after going back in time by one day).
  12. Internet is a bit dodgy this afternoon. Lots of packet loss - Jitter.
  13. The second half of yesterday, we went to the Suva National Forest and took a swim at the waterfall. Being a hot day, it was really refreshing.
  14. Re: my Travel with Jim_Iain - posts.. There's a link in my signature that should help.
  15. You will have to give us a weather prediction. We are suppose to have light rain from the forecasts I'm seeing.
  16. Thanks... fun playing around with the Video.
  17. We just set sail from Suva. So looking forward to a Sea Day.
  18. Most of my photos posted on CC are from my iPhone 15 Pro Max while about 50% of the movies on my youtube channel are 50% Phone and GoPro. Will have to see how things turned out today. I went swimming in a pool under a waterfall and took my GoPro for a swim.
  19. That is much of Fiji. Most of the villages are 100% self sufficient. Based on a variety of sources and calculations, it has been estimated that the average monthly salary after tax in Fiji is approximately FJD 1,200. This means that the average annual salary would be around FJD 14,400 (about USD $6,000) I do have to say they are some of the friendliness people you will ever meet. BTW - The population of Fiji is 929,000 - They so want to break the 1 Million mark.
  20. I think we visited a similar visit today..... I again was again appointed the Chief. Of course Iain missed shooting my Ceremony.
  21. Suva is so much more developed. As the Capital City - there are shopping malls, Embassies etc...etc.. Stay tuned..... I'll be posting some pictures and will upload a video to Travel With Jim_Iain - I have a lot of footage so will take me awhile to produce it.
  22. Playing with Fire --- You got to see the Finale
