  1. It's currently 7 days? It was 7 days out everywhere until a couple days ago when they switched to 3 days out in multiple states. Last time they did this (right before my last cruise), it was nationwide, though it didn't last long before they went back to 7 days.
  2. Congrats! We're 32 points away and have 21 points booked between now and next June. We normally only cruise in the summer b/c my wife is a teacher and she prefers to spend holidays like Thanksgiving and Xmas on land with family. She has a new position (in the same school) however that comes with a bit more leeway as far as using her saved up vacation days so we've been trying to cobble together 11 more nights to reach D+ on the family cruise already booked for next June.
  3. Did we have the conversation before? 🤣 I think incessantly reading this forum while waiting for my next cruise is rotting my brain. 🙃
  4. What is the difficulty scheduling a test with Walgreens or CVS? If you have them in your area and they offer rapid tests, you just have to wait a bit longer to schedule them.
  5. Don't blame you... but I'm the guy who won't even drive the extra 2 hours to Ft. Lauderdale because Port Canaveral is only an hour away and just so damn convenient.
  6. Too short for me too, though I'm far from retired. We only did one ever and that was b/c we had 76 points and wanted to reach Diamond before going on our next 7-nighter so we found the cheapest 4-nighter that fit our schedule and booked an inside GTY. We are doing a 3 and 4-night B2B in 18 days though. Won't have an opinion 'til we get back obviously but we had some specific reasons to try that instead of another longer cruise this summer.
  7. The current version is nothing like what it was in the Philly area in the 80s and 90s. Hoagies and soft pretzels are the go-to items (and cheesesteaks are edible by FL standards). They've added so much more now though. I can't vouch for most of the other stuff but they have lots of other cook to order items. My wife has had their chicken fingers, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese and liked it. I'd never order one but my friend said they have good burgers. I like Publix subs for reference, so it's not like I'm just biased, but the rolls at Wawa are a bit on the harder, crustier side (in a good way) that is more Philly-esque than rolls elsewhere.
  8. We went to a grand opening of one by us when it was new to Florida... it was a sea of Philly team jerseys and t-shirts, lol. We had to explain to friends from elsewhere what was so special about this "7-11 looking place."
  9. It was a joke. Sorry. I was saying it's never dependable. Happy planning!
  10. No reason to explain yourself to that poster. After having not cruised since 2019, you have no idea how many times I looked at the menus (bars included) before my 5/29 cruise, lol. Hope the app cooperates so you can plan accordingly.
  11. You typoed "It's never dependable". 🤣 Occasionally it does work though.
  12. It has been 11:00am when check-in opens but then 10:30am became available a few days later for all my cruises this summer. Don't ask me why 10:30 wasn't there from the start. All above info was from PC.
  13. If that's your preference, go for it. When working, I find the app to be much quicker.
  14. Glad to help. Just be aware the app is... ummm... unreliable at best, which is why I said "if it's working properly." It worked fine for my 5/29 Harmony cruise, checked in 45 days out. For my Indy B2B next month, nothing on the app whatsoever for 3 days and could only enter certain things via the website. Couldn't select an arrival time via either method for those 3 days.
  15. You can use either, however if you use the app, you can jump on 45 days out (if it's working properly) and grab your arrival time and worry about everything else later. If the arrival time is important to you. If you use the website, you need to enter more stuff before it will let you choose an arrival time.
