Same experience for us on Harmony 5/29. We got new ones midway through the week and the print changed from white to black IIRC.

If you use the app you can just grab your arrival time and do the rest later. You can also scan your passport instead of typing it in. The big caveat of course is that the app has to actually be working. 🤣

There's a list when you go to schedule your appointments, but that list also includes an "other" option and you type in the name of your test if it's not on their pre-made list of 8 or so. In other words, you can use any legit test you want there. They also have a live chat feature and the chat rep I spoke to was very helpful and responsive if you'd like to ask them anything directly.

Unsolicited additional advice… add as much land time if you can. Really long review of my 2018 trip when we did 10 days on land before Radiance if you’re interested. Nothing against the ports but some of our bigger highlights came before the cruise.

Can't speak to Enchantment specifically, but I can say dropping down below Voyager class for the first time can be quite an experience. Not having a promenade makes the ship feel very different and a bit claustrophobic for me. That said, we sailed Radiance in Alaska in 2018 and that's the one place I didn't really care b/c we were there to see Alaska, not the ship... whereas the ship is as important as anything to us when we sail the Caribbean.

Yep, we always have a few bags in the cabin... sitting next to the big ziploc I bring to keep my RC cookies in. 😁 Sure they have them all over the ship but sometimes you don't want to leave the room.

I remember you saying that more than once before my 5/29 sailing. Had a few lunches there but wound up sticking with the extended family who prefer to be served and didn't get to check out the WJ for "2nd dinner" as often as I usually do on family cruises. Can't exactly complain though since I wasn't paying and we were in a suite. Back to the WJ in 12 days, but on Indy.

The cook to order station in general is a big reason we eat dinner there when it’s just me & my picky wife. She can create her own pasta, stir fry, etc. Mongolian is one of my favs. Had it for lunch on Harmony about a month ago. Told the chef to make me a spicy sauce & his enthusiastic response scared me, lol, but it was delicious & didn’t burn my face off. Crepe station is very good as well.

I believe that's what's known as a "good problem." Also, I have read that you can actually cash it out via the casino somehow. Someone will explain I'm sure.

And virgin daiquiris come in many flavors… strawberry, mango, tropical (not entirely sure which fruits are in this one but my underage niece got one when a bar was out of strawberry & offered it). Can also try a virgin Miami Vice (mix of pina colada & strawberry daiquiri). EDIT: Oops, poster above beat me to that last one.

The most recent biodegradable straws on Harmony about a month ago were very durable. They weren't like the cardboard ones that disintegrate. Had no issues with any of my many frozen drinks. Also, pretty sure a Miami Vice is just mixing a Pina Colada with a Strawberry Daiquiri. A lava flow is closer to what you described... pouring strawberry (or mango) puree into a pina colada so it looks like lava rather than blending it all together.

Agree with the answers above. Freedom class is basically just a stretched out version of Voyager class. It's the jump to Oasis class where the ships become very different.

As mentioned above, it varies by ship but it's definitely not ALL doors open inward. Pretty sure I saw both types on Harmony recently.

Surely you realize that when people say "free" they mean they didn't pay anything out of pocket at the time of the test. You repeating a point that has been made numerous times doesn't help people dealing with the issue of figuring out where/how to test now.

It varies greatly. Not important if they don't get validated anyway since you need to show them at the port anyway.

Posted this yesterday in the bigger RoyalUp thread... This won't excite anyone, but we just won a RoyalUp from an interior GTY to a promenade view interior for the 1st half of our Indy B2B 14 days out. We drew the short straw and were originally assigned deck 3 (would never choose to be in the basement trapped behind the ice rink, lol) so we're happy. The min bid was only $15 and we bid a tiny bit more. One interesting note is that yesterday the cruise was showing as completely sold out except for one junior suite. Just before I got the RoyalUp e-mail, I noticed some interiors had appeared (as had other categories) and I was just about to text my TA to try to move us. So anyway, yay for the cheapo upgrade, and don't assume that a "sold out" cruise won't open up in the final 2 weeks.

Glad to hear it went smoothly. The asking for personal info like cruise reservation # is one reason I went with rapidtestandtrace for my 7/13 appointment for $5 more. Good to know you don't actually have to give OnPoint that info.

New to whom? I've known about this service for a very long time and have read many reports. You use whatever makes you feel comfortable. Why bother judging others who, in this case, are more educated about these other services than you are? I would never post "I don't understand why people waste extra $ on emed when there are other proven, less expensive options." Obviously they use what makes them feel comfortable.
