What is the best offer for new bookings anyone has seen ?

At the minute the new celebrity booking offer includes a free basic drinks package something i currently dont have. So do i use my free change or hang on for something better ?

Many variables at play. I can mention what I have observed about my cruises. 1) For the last Eclipse of March/18 there were price reductions every month since July last year, 2 months before the departure there was still 25% of the available cabins and prices continued to go down one month before the departure the concierges came to be cheaper than the interior that I originally bought in June / 2017. Quite the opposite is happening with my bookings for the Silhouette for March/2019 now a year of the sailing there are only about 30% of the cabins available and the prices are already going up my cabin cat 2B has gone up more than $ 500 in each stretch of the B2B. Sometime is better last minute and others as soon as it is available.

Just returned fro Eclipse cruise, when we arrive Miami from MTY (MX) there were at the MIA airport a lot of machines to do the pre check, the machine scans your passport, visa, fingers and takes you a photo, so the time to meet with the officer is very fast and less questions. Also when the ship returned to Miami port no much officers as you say at the terminal but the process was as fast as I never seen. They only check you are the same in the passport photo and the last entry to USA is within the 6 month period.

I think your delay was so long because the ship comes from a NON USA port, origin port South America, etc. I think Cunard failed to help with the process providing information for a fast immigration process.

the long delay has no justification, officials and Cunard should have done the pre-check on the last day of the sea.

I find this :

1)All of Royal Caribbean's unlimited alcohol packages can be used the cruise line's private destinations of CocoCay and Labadee.

Your drink package at these two spots can be used just like onboard the ship. Present your SeaPass card to any crew member working on the island and they will fulfill your order.

The only caveat to keep in mind is many of the roving bar servers offering a Labadoozie or Coco Loco have souvenir cups with them, so you may have to walk to the bar to get your drinks with the package.

2)All bars, lounges, the Main Dining Room, Windjammer, Speciality Restaurants and our private destinations(Labadee & Cococay) will supply package drinks.

3)Pricing may also vary due to VAT regulations of the countries a ship may embark/debark at and also when we call within a country’s territorial waters.

I think its an FCC requirement that airplane mode turns off all transmitted signals. Unless you have a non us phone, turning on airplane mode turns off cellular,Bluetooth and WiFi.

I purchase the iPhone in Mexico from Claro Shop, I have just checked a Sony Android from my son at it works as you say AP turns off everything

When you put it in Airplane Mode it turns off WiFi. You then have the option to turn WiFi on in Airplane Mode.

Nope in my iPhone the WiFi continues ON never turned OFF when I put the phone in AP Mode only cellular is turned OFF , if I say it, it's because I have done it many times and that's the way my phone works

No, airplane mode turns off both cellular and wi-fi. However, you can then turn wi-fi on while still in airplane mode.

Excuse me in my iPhone 5S if i put it on Airplane Mode the WiFi continues ON. Only Cellular is turned OFF.

It's obvious the insides does not have the natural light at day or at night, When we have several continues days at sea I love my veranda. At night like to see the moon in the horizon, at morning a breakfast hearing the sea. Last Eclipse cruise one day I see a Whale jumping !! also we have full moon last sea days :)

Some boats repeat the same itinerary every year others do not. Now with the arrival of the new Edge there are several movements for 2019 one of It is that the Eclipse will no longer sail in the Caribbean and she will do Antarctica of round trips to Hawaii

Last Eclipse cruise I questioned Super Mario (Shorex manager on board) Why they only offer me a 10% discount for my future cruises shorex when they offer the 25% online. He says book now and if you see cheaper cancel and re-book. The super savings when booking on board it's not true

We are in the 65 and have done my first X cruise on board the Eclipse, a lot to do never been bored. Meet a lot of friends from all parts of the world. Maybe if you feel younger need a cruise focused in the activities you are looking.

I have never done, but a lot of friends and CC members recommend the Calabaza tours

When boarding the Eclipse March/18, security ask me to see what was inside my carry on (The magnetic hooks). For disembarkation we use the luggage valet and I pack the hooks in one of the bags. That bag arrived home without the TSA lock approved. I think they open my bag because of the magnetic hook. Nothing was missed. To Avoid problems it's better to pack them always in your carry on.

For next year Silhouette cruise we chose the Hilton Marina, room with a view to the cruises. other option was the Pier 66 (former Hyatt) they have not rebuild the rooms with a view to the cruises since last hurricane.
