The Chacmool These figures possibly symbolised slain warriors carrying offerings to the gods; the bowl upon the chest was used to hold sacrificial offerings, including pulque, tamales, tortillas, tobacco, turkeys, feathers and incense. In an Aztec example the receptacle is a cuauhxicalli (a stone bowl to receive sacrificed human hearts). Chacmools were often associated with sacrificial stones or thrones.Aztec chacmools bore water imagery and were associated with Tlaloc, the rain god. Their symbolism placed them on the frontier between the physical and supernatural realms, as intermediaries with the gods. The chacmool form of sculpture first appeared around the 9th century AD in the Valley of Mexico and the northern Yucatan Peninsula.

Thanks [emoji120], have u been there? If so, how is the trip from the port - lots to look at? ( recently, on our journey back from Bangkok to the port, we saw motorways and that’s about if [emoji4])

I was living in Cozumel and Merida, by bus its better and shorter from Playa del Carmen about 2 Hours, some ships stops there before Cozumel for passenger doing tours in Mainland. If not in Cozumel take the ferry to Playa and then the bus to Chichen. Other option more expensive is by air from Cozumel.
In the road you will only see the jungle.

I will choose Chichén Itzá
The pre-Hispanic city of Chichén Itzá was the most outstanding capital of the Mayan area, at the end of the Classic period and the beginnings of the Postclassic period. Upon the arrival of the Spaniards, it was constituted as the most revered center of worship and pilgrimage in the Yucatan peninsula. At present it is a Sacred Center for the Mayans. You are welcome!

What's your loyalty level on Royal Caribbean? If you are Diamond on Royal you are Elite on Celebrity and entitled to Elite benefits. Call Captain's Club at Celebrity and give them your Royal Caribbean number.
Gold, but there are several RCCL cruises not displayed in my Crown & Anchor. I Call and they tell me send us a proof of your sailings to fix it. I will try to find the Cards as proof of the sailings.
Thanks everybody for your comments

We are on Celebrity Eclipse for next March 18, we will overnight at Curacao
-
On March 18, 2018 Eclipse will be my first X Cruise, I have another 5 cruises reserved for 2019.
Silhouette B2B March 2019 and Eclipse B2B2B Sept / Oct 2019.
When I finish my first cruise, can I request the free upgrade from Cat 2B to 2A? or is this offer valid only at the time of booking?
-
I just Look Celebrity USA and other internet site the cruise has cabins available in all categories for booking
-
login and select your booking, then before you board there is a link print luggage tags
-
I have a stainless steel bar in the bone marrow of the tibia and a plaque on my ankle, I have never been asked in airports or on the pier. I have been stopped for a second review because the metal button of my jeans sounds the alarm
-
I look for the Marriott Pinnacle for half the rate of the Pan Pacific and the Fairmont, they also have rooms with a view to the cruise dock.
-
Right now Celebrity says : No rooms found for this request
-
From other posts
the connecting doors are outside in the vestibule on S class ships (except Reflection) and not in the actual cabin
As you can see, the outer doors are now closed and the vestibule hallway is inside, making a perfect solution for families. The doors stay open, if the cabins are booked by different individuals
-
On the Eclipse 6146 has a upper berth the triangle mark (3 pax room) and bed by the bathroom, 6148 bed by the balcony.
The obstruction will be the same in both
I will choose 6148

Did you file a complaint on Celebrity? I would ask for at least one compensation
-
I have seen in Marine Traffic, several cruises after the departure port a stop at the "ANCH Port" for half to 1 hour
-

Suddenly finding ourselves looking at a cruise for spring break - found one that has a pretty low price point ($750 pp/balcony) and still seems to have several dozen cabins still available.
Cruise is 6 weeks away. Will it drop further? We've never booked a cruise less than a full year out...this is new to us. Would it make sense to wait another week or two (or more?) and watch the available cabins?
Look at Eclipse March 18, bargain prices for XC, 1B and 1C the ship filling quickly.

Price differences Uk-US
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
We are in MX and have observed the same availability in the US and MX sites at the current exchange rate. The upgrades and discounts policies are different in each country. If you book with a US agent, the most likely thing is that you can obtain the free upgrade. For our case in Eclipse March 18 there have been significant price drops, we were denied the upgrade when roll call partners were granted. We were also denied the discount on B2B cruises. Sometimes I think that it is the laws of each country that make Celebrity act in one way or another. In some countries the rights of consumers are protected and not in others. But acting in this way creates a different treatment in a globalized world, I feel angry sad, etc. as I have been treated by Celebrity Mexico
