Just to add the price goes up £10 on dress to impress night or did on Explorer 2 last 2 weeks

We just got back from Explorer 2 and they insisted that we show them the booster certificate

They are plugged in beside the bottom of the bed but don’t know what rating they are so dont know what you could plug into them. it’s ridiculous that there is only 2 sockets in the whole suite one European one US next to each other and you have to move the espresso out of the way to get to them. The USB on the lamps are only low charge as well , we have just returned from cruise and where in 1212 hope this helps.

They have a problem with their IT , it was showing that Aruba had been removed from all Caribbean cruises and a sea day inserted instead.Thay said they we’re going to fix the problem over the weekend.

Have just heard through twitter this is an IT mistake and Aruba is still on the itinerary, they are working hard to resolve this issue

Hi Nokiaman , we are on 5th of February, Gutted loosing Aruba as it is my 60th birthday that day and arranged something special on Aruba

Have now found out via another social media forum that out itinerary has changed again.We did have 6 islands in our first week and now only have 4 lost Aruba on my 60th Birthday and Grenada ,now have 3 sea days , Second week Lost Dominica but Gained Grenadines . We have heard nothing from TUI and on a online chat they said they could not confirm that Aruba which is now missing from all Tropical Delight itineraries has been removed, not impressed with this at all.I know things can change but this is a big change now and no information has been given. Hi Wacktle We also tried to get the information from Marella with same result, we have booked our trips now and will just have to wait and see if we can fit any other ones in. We do think the Excursions are reasonably priced and much cheaper than Cunard and P&O

Hi , we are going on a 2 week cruise on February 5th 2023 on Explorer 2 and have booked a few trips on the cruise control app, there are no departure or return times only duration and we were possibly looking at doing some independent trips on the same day.We were wondering when the times for the trips are available so we could add some small trip’s in between. Any help would be great thanks. Mark and Michelle

Try looking for TUI fly orTOM and the flight number, different sites use different prefixes for Thomson. I use Flightradar24 as well best site/app for flight tracking .

Hi RR Can I ask what web site you used to bring up the picture of the ship you are going on and the countdown. All we get when we can log in is a drop down list of the booking showing trip too Barbados and older bookings we have had. Thanks

We can log in but it shows just our flight to Barbados not our cruise like yours does with the count down.

I did find on the Allianz site a page that said you can add cruise cover that was a top up on the normal insurance. With our Cruise Insurance cover, you get all the great benefits of our Single Trip and Annual insurance policies, but you're also covered for risks that are unique to cruises, including: Missed port departure: If you miss the ship beacuse of public transport delays or your vehicle breaking down on your way to the port, we’ll pay for transport costs so you can catch it at the next port. Cruise interruption: If you fall ill and need to be hospitalised ashore, we’ll pay for the travel expenses so you can re-join the cruise when you’re feeling better. Cabin confinement: We’ll pay up to your claim limit if you’re ill and the doctor confines you to your cabin. This also applies if there’s a medical situation on board that means you have to stay in your cabin. Cruise itinerary changes: If there’s bad weather or a reason why your ship can’t make a scheduled stop, we’ll pay up to the limit shown on your policy. Unused excursions cover: If you can’t make a trip or excursion due to injury, illness or the ship not being able to stop as scheduled, we’ll cover you for the unused cost.

We have a Lloyds Bank Premiere account that covers us for cruises even though it does not specifically state this but have checked with Allianz the insurance provider. You can add extra specific cruise cover for missed port and itinerary change an few other things for an additional charge too top up your existing cover. We are going in February 2023 and will check nearer to the cruise for the cost.

Hi, I know you have to pay to use the Cabana’s but do you have to pay to use the Veranda Deck as the beds look much nicer than the ones around the pool. We have just changed our cabin from a Deluxe to a Junior suite because of the reports of noise and soot on the Balcony, we are in 1212 has anyone stayed in this room who could tell us how they found it please. Hi ,we had booked a deluxe cabin on deck 10 but after hearing lots of comments about the noise at the rear of the ship and soot on the balcony have decided to get a junior suite mid ship. We have the option of deck 10 or 12 does anyone have any opinions on which deck would be best. Thanks for any advise.

We are going on our first Marella cruise in February 2023 on Explorer 2 , I know it’s a long way off but getting very excited about cruising again.we have booked a Deluxe cabin on deck 10 for the large balcony and room size but are a bit worried that people say the aft cabins are very noisy when coming into port, has anyone had any experience of this ? , we don’t want to lose the extra space by changing cabins and can’t justify the extra money for a junior suite. Also is there storage for suitcases under the beds as we could do this on Cunard and P&O cabins, or is there anywhere else too store them. Thanks for any help.
