I've never heard of any code. I call in and say remove guest 2, done simple as that.
Thanks. I just checked my email. In July 2023, I asked my TA to remove my wife from my Wonder of the Seas sailing. TA confirmed the removal and the eventual refund of taxes and fees. The cruise was in October 2023. I did not get double points. Should I have the TA call Royal Caribbean?

Here's a list of Amped and Revitalized ships:

Thanks everyone for your input.
@Ourusualbeach, what has been your personal experience as a TA performing this booking adjustment? Is there a "code" that's needed? From what has been stated earlier, just saying "remove person x from the booking" is not sufficient.

My wife won't be sailing with me on my upcoming cruise. I would like to convert my booking into a solo that qualifies for double points. On a previous sailing she decided not to go, I had her removed from the booking but did not receive double points.
Is there a way the booking has to be coded so that I will receive double points? Will there be any additional charges assuming everything else stays the same? Will there be a refund of the port fees and taxes?

As others have said there are three options.
1, Pre pay before you go.
2, do not pre pay and once onboard a daily amount is added to your onboard bill.
3, Do not pre pay and once on board can cancel the Graturites all together, via guest services.
Those are the full options and you can do what ever you feel is right for you 👍
Those options can be combined with any/all of the following
A) Tipping cash as you see fit
B) Thanking crew members for their dedication and hard work
C) Whining about tipping on Cruise Critic

Hey all,
The website mentioned is mine that I developed and maintain because of trying to find information for each ship was frustrating me and a few close friends.
I'm happy to hear of improvements for the website and make it more useful for everyone who cruises with RC.
Amazing! I love it. I deleted the data in my matrix spreadsheets (app and restaurants/bars) and am directing viewers and collaborators to your site. Thanks for putting this together.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions! We will definitely be looking for a later flight!
Was it the Jim Carey clip that ultimately changed your mind?

Maybe a Disney ship, or two, will be there.

Does the barcode trick reveal any information?

Doable, but very risky and not recommended. You'll have to be among the first to disembark. Having passports will make the process a bit faster. Your driver will need to be there waiting for you. Pre-check at the airport will also save some time.

I think Carnival blocks wifi calling and texting for some financial reason that is as bizarre as no bacon or sauteed mushrooms. Other cruise lines have these items and with Carnival's full ships and higher prices there really isn't a reasonable explanation. I just complain on my surveys and prepare a workaround. When I think it is a big enough issue, I will cruise elsewhere.
Yes, I have one more Carnival cruise left. I only booked it to compare Celebration Key to Coco Cay.
I think the financial reason is their agreement with Wireless Maritime Services.

I'm not sure if being pooped on this morning by a bird (and nearly missed by another) is a good sign or a bad sign.... this time its a b2b so keep your fingers crossed for me. Lol
Hmmm. Which is worse, bird poop or monkey pee?

Nice itinerary but too bad not more time in Bermuda. That isn't really enough time considering the Dockyard is not centrally located at all. We found plenty to fill up the 3.5 days that we were there.
I look forward to spending a few hours in Hamilton. I also enjoy the bus ride there and back.

Just asked a question about this in a new thread. How long does it take to show excursions for the new stop in the planner?
I think it will take a week or so for the planner to update. Maybe longer seeing that they have to make accomodations for each and every changed sailing.

Different cruise line but here is my timeline to catch a 10:19am flight out of MIA. Others also relate earlier flight times.

I do not have Facebook. Can someone please ask John Heald a question for me?
Why is wifi calling blocked on Carnival cruise ships? Is it because of their with agreement with Wireless Maritime Services? Is there a security reason? Network congestion or other technical reason? Wifi calling works on their competitor's ships, Royal Caribbean.
I find it frustrating that I can't receive multi factor authentication codes via text message for certain sites/services I need to access such as banking and work related sites. I couldn't even use VPN for work. However, VPNs being blocked, I can somewhat understand that.

Earliest flight we’ve ever made was at 8:30am (and it was from FLL).
Just now, Colorado Beach Bum said:We’ve caught 9:30 flights out of FLL and checked bags.
Amazing!!!! I would have had major anxiety. I'm glad y'all made it.

I was actually inquiring about whether you checked luggage for your flight.
I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I did not initially check my luggage. However, when it was announced at the gate they will do a courtesy check for groups A thru D, I decided to have my suitcase checked.

You are a very brave soul.
A woman I chatted with in the casino while we were waiting said she was flying out of FLL and had a 10am flight! I think that's really pushing with. She also caught a shuttle but was placed in the FLL shuttle. We wished each other well.

The regular security screening lines didn't look too bad. But that would have added to my stress.

Did you check any luggage?
I carried off to ensure a speedier process. I also have a passport so I just had to scan my face. Whew! I'm glad I'm not wanted in any of the 50 states or territories.... I would have missed my flight!

How to turn a double into a solo with double points?
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
I spoke with a C&A rep this morning. They reviewed my Wonder of the Seas booking and they will adjust my points. So instead of 7, I will receive 14.
Thanks to all for their input and assistance.
