  1. There are no other drawers at all besides the baskets in the closet?
  2. Hi. We were on the Beyond in Dec. The steaks were NOT Grey in any of the MDR , that is a ridiculous comment. The buffet had a big Indian selection for lunch. There is only pizza late at night. That was disappointing because they closed the ice cream at 9:45. A couple of nights we rushed up to get ice cream before their supposed 10pm closing time only to find out you have to be there before they start breaking it down at 9:45. We never had to wait for a table in any MDR, and remember if one is busy there are 3 others to go to and they all have the same menu and the special items designed for each individual themed restaurant you can order at any one. We ate breakfast in the MDR and it was very good. Never too crowded, we sat outside on the aft deck, and an enormous selection Any more questions, just ask
  3. Hi. Was wondering if any of the bars make spicy skinny margaritas? Does anyone know?
  4. Hi. I was wondering if anyone was affected by the dry slides going down to the 8th deck. How would you know if your stateroom balcony view is obstructed from the slide. I would hate to be on our balcony and hear the people screaming on their way down the slide, haha. Our stateroom is on deck 10 towards the aft. Thanks
  5. That's what I thought. How about where the slide is. Do you know where it obstructs certain cabins? I would hate to be on our balcony and hear people screaming while going down the slide, haha
  6. Hi. We will be on the Prima on deck 10 towards the aft. It looks like the infinity pool area on deck 8 will be right underneath where our stateroom is and it seems that on deck 8 infinity Beach sticks out so if we are on our balcony and look down that is what we will see. Is that the case or am I wrong. I don't know how much I will like that, if so. Has anyone have any experience with this? Thanks
  7. It's not a reservation time the first night. It's just a suggestion. We had a time at one of the restaurants but we went to another one at a different time and there was no problem. If you want to make ahead reservations before you board I would call Celebrity services desk and ask for their help. They should be able to do this for you if you're not able to do it on the app
  8. Hi. I've seen the menus for Indulge food Hall lunch and dinner but not breakfast. Does anyone have the menus for that? Want to see if it would be a good option for us. Thanks!
  9. Hi. We were in 8299 and 8297. There is 2 heavy doors in between the cabins and you are right, they are right opposite the bathroom. Our son was in the connecting cabin and with both doors closed you cannot hear anything from the connecting cabin. It's as soundproof as two regular staterooms next to each other. The doors are that heavy. So heavy that they were extremely hard to even open. I don't think you will have any issues
  10. Hi. We went to 3 out of the 4 restaurants. We didn't go to Cosmopolitan. They all offer 3 special appetizers and 3 specialty entrees designed to fit the theme of the restaurant.. French, Italian, etc. We weren't thrilled with the special dishes at Cosmopolitan so we chose to do the others instead. In our opinion, Cyprus was the best and ate there the most. Our least favorite was Tuscan but that could have been due to an unhappy, rude server. We made reservations every night but saw that most people didn't and never had to wait for a table. I think you can upgrade to premium while on board but you can also pay the difference if there is a specialty drink you want that is not on the classic package, sometimes that is more cost effective depending on what premium beverages you want. In our opinion the classic was fine. While we normally drink Grey goose at home, we "slummed" it on the ship and drank Titos. We survived, haha. We also found the wines on the classic to be very good
  11. OK. I'm confused. We were on the Joy in late October and there was no service charge for continental breakfast. Has this policy changed? We always get coffee delivered as our wake up call. Now there is a 5.95 charge for that?
  12. We just got off Beyond and went to Eden about 20 minutes before start of show and no, there was not enough seating. We actually left as did other people. It was disappointing
  13. The only behavior of negativity was against the IV. I just wanted to reassure others that it is not at all as horrible as others portray it to be and people should not be so adamant that it is. Some people don't like change but most of the time change is good
  14. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one!
  15. I was skeptical too. It's the same opening of a balcony. You are just more enclosed on the sides which gives you privacy. We never ever heard anyone on any other balcony. And we didn't have to worry about going out there in our underwear, haha. Also with the window closed your stateroom feels huge. It was a win,win for us
  16. So the elevator is only designed for one wheelchair and kind of scary. It only goes between those 2 floors
  17. There was nothing we didn't enjoy except the fact that if you have a mobility issue there are a lot of areas that you need to use stairs to access. The atrium where the martini bar is has a half floor. Eden was a disaster to get from 5 to 4. And if you want to go from the pool to the hot tub you have to go up 2 flights of stairs or go inside to the elevator which doesn't really work out to good, wet and no shoes. Otherwise no bad things to say. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.. Food,, entertainment,, pool,, Let me know if you would like to know about anything more specific
  18. The ship is absolutely beautiful! There are so many little nooks and crannys to explore and relax in.. Our sailing had about 2300 guests and it never felt crowded. The weather was beautiful everyday and there was never a problem getting a chair by the pool or in the solarium. We never had to wait for a table in any of the restaurants either and the buffet never felt crowded. There is just so many different spaces that people were all spread out. Not everything is in one area.. The hot tubs are on a different level as are the infinity pools.. At first I didnt think I would like that but it works out really well. The stateroom is gorgeous and the shower is the largest I've ever been in. My husband is 6 foot 6 inches and this was the only shower he really fit in. And of course the crew was awesome
  19. We went to those ports. Nassau was crazy busy with about 18,000 cruise ship passengers. Been there so many times so got off and right back on. We did the dolphins in Costa Maya which was great and was right off the end of the pier so no transportation needed. We've done the ruins in Cozumel so just walked around. In Grand Cayman we did snorkeling which was only a 5 minute boat ride from the ship. It was some of the best snorkeling. The water is so beautiful there. By the way, I am not knocking the SV at all. Saw them on the last day and you will love the balcony. Very big with lounge chairs. I was just so pleasantly surprised with the IV
  20. My family and I just got back from the Beyond and we had 2 connecting infinite verandah staterooms on the 8th floor. We are frequent cruisers, elite on Celebrity and Platinum on NCL. Before sailing I always go on cruise critic and other cruise review sites for "Insider information ", reviews. Etc. We always book a sunset verandah but could not get 2 rooms next to each other for this cruise so we went for the infinite verandah. I have to tell you that we LOVED it! I honestly was so worried that we wouldn't pre cruise because I could not find any review that was positive. I tried to change our stateroom up until the last day because I was so apprehensive about the infinite verandah. I have to say, I would 100 percent book it again. Even over the sunset verandah. It is not like a cabin with a big picture window. It is like a balcony only more private when you have the whole window portion down. And if it's too breezy you can just open a portion of it to get the nice fresh ocean air. We had it open either partially or fully every time we were in the cabin. Lying in bed, having coffee, having a cocktail at sunset or just getting ready to go out. Never had a single bug fly in the room which I've read and not once did the captain close it when I wanted it open. Why would you want it open if the weather was inclement or they were cleaning the balconies anyway? And don't get me started about having to hold the button down to open it. It takes all of about 30 seconds. And by the way to open or close the blind portion you don't have to hold it. So in conclusion, the purpose of my "rant" is that I wanted anyone who is apprehensive about the infinite verandah to rest assured that it's not at all as negative as others make it out to be. I know everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but in my personal opinion it gets an A+! If anyone has any questions about this or anything else on the Beyond please feel free to ask
  21. We will be on the Beyond and have adjoining, connecting cabins. I have heard that the doors are heavy and do not stay open. We are traveling with children and would like to leave the doors open. Has anyone experienced this? And of so are there any solutions to keeping the doors between the cabins ajar. Any feedback would be appreciated
