  1. we bought it online and didn't have to deal with anyone "playing dumb"
  2. I would get this and call it a day. That's what we did when DH needed it for his work (although it was before the price hike and cost us a lot less). If neither of you drinks alcohold, than it's a no brainer - $60 pppd for the first 2 people in the cabin isn't worth it. perhaps, she could just use free wifi at ports? or pay $10 per day for ATT or whatever plan you have on port days?
  3. they were excellent on Enchanted. My kid drank his weight's worth of sodas and mocktails every day... His favorites were zero mojito and Key West cooler. The adult version of the Key West cooler is the Ultimate cooler. Also, he discovered that adding mint and lime to a regular coke makes a great tasting mocktail. Zero Miami Vice is great. Some of the venues also have additional mocktails on their menu, aside from the main ones.
  4. my kid watched all of these production shows when he was 11. Nothing was inappropriate, unlike Grease on RCI or one of the musicals on NCL Getaway back in 2018. I disagree. I loved it and I was 48 and not a gamer at all. My 11 yo wasn't impressed just because he doesn't care about singing or dancing all that much, and he didn't care that it was "video game adjacent". I didn't see anyone walk out... Now, tons of people walked out of Cats on Oasis, including us...
  5. people put tape over the sensor to avoid setting it off during the night. Enchanted didn't have that annoying light back in 2022. I am so glad you enjoyed your cruise! We'll be on Enchanted in 3 weeks. 🙂
  6. ugh, it didn't have banana or coconut in it last time. There was a little pineapple in it (which I also don't like but there was very little of it), so it was more like a Midori Sour which I love. The Midori Sour I ordered at the Wakeview bar was simply awful and not anywhere close to what it was supposed to be. After searching the menu I found the closest to it drink being Dunes. It was rather heavenly, and I have been looking forward to having it for almost 2 years now. But if they added coconut and banana to it - then no, thanks.
  7. well, I dunno, I am trying to make reservations, but both Catch and Crown Grill are sold out on most days, and only Sabatini is available.
  8. if the balcony is larger, it will appear so on the deck map:
  9. I mean the screenshots of the MDR menus on the app, not photos of the paper menu in MDR itself. Do you still see them in the app for the past few days? I've just read that the menus only appear on the app for the current day, so that may hinder taking screenshots later. Thank you! That's ok, enjoy your time onboard! It goes by so quickly!
  10. haven't had or heard about any problems. We were there last Nov and will be there in 3 weeks.
  11. others may have a larger group (there are 5 of us) and an earlier time preference...
  12. is there any way you could pretty please, with sugar on top, post MDR dinner menus in order? I am trying to look them up on the app but menus are not available till we board. Thank you! If you do not have time for this, it's fine, I understand.

  14. lol, that's exactly WHY we cruise on Princess. Food is very subjective. We only sail in newer (Royal Class and up) Princess ships, and we find their food to be great.
  15. if you add the Princess Plus package onboard and pay for it with your OBC, you win twice. There will be no increase in your insurance cost to you and you will spend your large amount of OBC. P.S. We are not Elite, so we don't get a well stocked bar or $12 wifi. But we don't drink either, so we don't buy Plus/Premier packages anyway. P.P.S. We only cruise 2-3 times a year for a week. Not 100 days per year....
  16. stay put. My parents and we are now on different decks as of a couple of days ago. They got upgraded to a balcony, and we are still in the inside cabin. We were side by side, but not anymore.
  17. yes, it was. Undoubtedly. well, they are very expensive at that establishment. I still remember watching the bartender show and getting Vanilla Sky (no package for us), and then getting a shock upon viewing my folio... That was many years ago. Plus Package covers Cocktails, wine and beer up to $15 each. here is a small sampling from the current Enchanted Princess sailing - as you can see, plenty of drinks under $15. Yes, good wines are more expensive than $15, and I am sorry about that. I don't drink wine, so Lemon Drops, Midori Sours, Dunes and Appletinis for $10 each would be fine for me.
  18. I meant Dunes from our Nov 2022 Enchanted Princess cruise.
  19. It wasn't called a martini in 2022, and it was Midori liqueur based at that time. I don't like rum or bourbon, but I do like melon liqueur.
  20. Jamie, Is Dunes still on a drinks menu? If yes, you may want to try it as well. The best ones were made by the bartender at the O'Malley's pub bar. Used to be Salty Dog pub bar. And they still serve crepes in the buffet at dinner time, if you wanted to try Nutella crepes (the best thing in the world).
  21. for a heavier drinker who also needs fancy coffee and wifi, $60 pppd still makes sense financially. Plus package includes the majority of alcoholic drinks, unlike Celebrity's lower level alcohol drink package. We don't drink, so buying a Plus package is not for us. We'll enjoy a fancy coffee here and there, and maybe a cocktail or two on Princess ships, since they are more or less sensibly priced. X's drinks were too expensive even for the most basic beer.
  22. are we talking Royal class Princess? Or the older Princess ships? Royal Class Princess buffets are lovely.
