Glad to hear that. It’s good to know you can call the hotel and get the information.

Thank you. I’m just spoiled with the newness of Harmony, but still like freedom class plus love southern Caribbean routes

I'm looking for details on the shower curtain vs glass doors in a jr. suite on Freedom.
We recently sailed on Harmony in our first jr. suite and are now hooked.
In researching a cruise on Freedom - all the pictures or videos I'm seeing show a curtain in the tub/shower. I'm surprised at this vs. a glass door like on Harmony.

This is my “hack”. I made a multi brand medicine case from a typical pill case. It’s so easy to take several kinds of meds in one case. I take it everywhere I travel.

I think it depends on what time yours begins. We had a morning class; eating about noon. We then had a couple hours to spend at beach or pool or chocolate shop lol. There was a class that came in after ours.
The food can be adjusted to your preferences. There’re very attentive to people’s needs or dislikes.
I hope you do book it and are as pleased as we were.

Agree with Merion Mom - it was a lot of fun! We did it on our last cruise. You also have time for beach or pool after you eat your lunch.

Why are the beds so terrible on Royal Carribean? Other cruise lines have brilliant beds - HAL and Princess come to mind ......

I find the beds on RC to be very comfortable! I also love the sheets and sleep so well while on a cruise.
Different people have different preferences I guess. [emoji6]

.
Also I am trying to figure out what area we are directly above and whats across from us (I think the Pub may be across)
Thanks!
I’ve always used the website where you can see the deck plans, line them up (I use the stairs on each floor) and drag one over the other to figure this out. So sorry I can’t remember the name right now...
I’m sure someone will jump in shortly [emoji16]

very interested in these comparisons - looking forward to your reports!

Recently on the harmony we experienced a 'cute little dog' at our table at lunch in mdr.
The owner was a little put out when I choose to leave a seat between me and the dog. She then proceeded to feed it off a plate from the table.
We saw them in Coastal Kitchen a few times also
And... this was the third cruise in a row.
I feel that people take advantage of the service dog allowance also which is unfortunate for those with a real need.

We did hear from our waiter in Coastal Kitchen that they were going to reconfigure a lot more ships with CK. Check when the next dry dock is in relation to your cruise dates, it's possible.

The same thing happened on our recent harmony cruise. Once onboard, our reserved times showed in our planner and all was good.

Excellent. Glad you found something that worked well for your group.

We recently stayed at Hampton Inn Plantation. Very nice, lots of restaurants nearby, free shuttle from airport and to cruise port. Nice rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast, reasonable price (it would depend on your dates).

We're on Oasis this Sunday and the Steelers/Patriots are at 4:30pm EST. Hoping we can find somewhere to watch it, but doubt any of the bars have NFL network.
And before you judge, yeah, I know we're on a cruise. But we're big fans. Steelers, of course.
We were able to watch the Steelers game on our recent Harmony cruise. We started at the On Air bar and finished in our room on espn.
It's a big game so I'd bet that will be the game that's showing.

Interesting observation. I wondered if it had something to do with the 'view'. I know deck 9 used to be all the SOV but in the pictures they're showing a different window style. (I also know their pictures aren't always true representation)
Deck 9 SOV was always my go-to when sailing the majesty.

We just got off Harmony in a jr. Suite and the wow bands were included and waiting in our cabin.

And you didn't have an internet plan, right?
correct! no internet plan.... airplane mode - royal wifi = text with iMessage
we could not get onto internet or any other apps besides Royal IQ
-
Interesting, so iMessage won't work in Airplane Mode with WiFi on?
That's exactly how it worked for me this past week on Harmony.

We cruised in Boardwalk balcony on Oasis and loved it. We never experienced the noise people complain about while we were in our room. To be able to be see/be outside while paying an inside price is a great deal to me.
Also just sailed on Harmony and originally had a boardwalk guarantee, when assigned we called and were able to switch to regular balcony for the same price.
Plus... Boardwalk balcony comes with extra perks: soda package for two, Johnny Rockets lunch for two and rock wall climbing lesson.

We just returned from a cruise that stopped at Labadee. There was a drone flying over our swimming area (Nellies beach) and landed to a man on the beach. We did wonder about the regulations of them.

I would look at Deck 8 by the forward elevators. Easy access to Central Park (deck 8) and the Promenade (deck 5) or a nice walk through Central Park to aft stairs and down to the Boardwalk (deck 6)
Exactly where I would have suggested!
