We were on Celebrity Beyond last year for Christmas and there was not a special Christmas themed menu. We thought for sure there would be but there was not. Christmas Day on Celebrity was just like any other day. We were a bit disappointed. Same menu as any other sailing. We then moved to a Royal Caribbean ship for New Years and they had a special themed menu on New Years Eve. It was wonderful!

I just returned from the Royal Princess (May2-14) and was “lucky” enough to test positive while onboard. I enquired about receiving Paxlovid and after a consultation with the ships Dr I was was offered the drug, the cost was $750.00 and also required a baseline liver function test (at an additional cost) before the Dr would dispense the 5 day course of treatment.
I declined the treatment based on the possible side effects for a patient who already suffers from high blood pressure.

guaranteed cabin means you’re guaranteed a cabin in the category you purchased or higher and can be anywhere on the ship. You have no control over what cabin will be assigned to you, could be any deck and could be forward, mid or aft.

I am wondering if Freedom of the Seas still has the Promenade interior cow decorated stateroom above Ben and Jerrys and if it still comes with lounge access and ice-cream?
Thanks!

They had a $25pp deposit in Jan and another $20pp deposit in Feb and none since. We booked on both sales and were hoping for another deposit sale soon. They don’t seem to advertise it before hand.

My husband and I were just on the Equinox and did two flowers. We will definitely do again as we enjoyed the experience, it was a lot of fun. You get to pick the piece you would like to make, pick your own colours etc. They do most of the work but you do help with the process. You get to roll the glass, pinch the glass etc. If you pick a bowl, vase you get to blow into the piece etc ... Our flowers were wrapped in paper and I placed in my carry on. Made it home safe and sound with no breakage.

The ship is chartered for an 8 night cruise from San Juan to Bayonne.
Do you know if it’s a certain group still selling cabins or it’s a private event?

I was hoping to book the May 2, 2020 Celebrity Summit San Juan to New Jersey but it doesn’t seem to be available to book? Does anyone know when it will be available or was it changed and now going to be unavailable?
We booked the April 25, 2020 sailing but was hoping to stay on the ship until NJ. Seems only April 25 and then May 9 once it hits NJ is only available. The May 2nd sailing seems to have disappeared?

Yes we understand this and have booked gty cabins before with other lines but on all MSC literature all states 14 days or before. Everything you read online says cabin will be assigned before 14 days and you cannot complete or print boarding passes as no cabin has been assigned.
-
When booking a gty cabin it states cabin will be assigned 14 days or before. Has anyone else waited over the 14 days before receiving a cabin #?
We sail Nov 24th (11 days) and still no cabin assignment. Should we be worried or it will eventually get assigned?

Teppanyaki is included in the three meal Discover Roy’s Cuisine package. It includes Pan Asian, Sushi, and Teppanyaki. An excellent value of $65 pre-purchase online or its $90 if purchased onboard.
We did this is June and will be doing it again this month on Seaside.

Just wondering if the soda package is the same price onboard as it is to pre-purchase online?
Reason I am asking is we would like to use on board credit to purchase, but cannot do this until we board.
I know the specialty dining packages are more on board but unsure of drink packages? Also if purchased on board do you pay 15% gratuity for every can of soda, or is the unlimited soda package just fountain?

We just sailed the Seaside on June 23. We booked a Bella inside GTY cabin. We were upgraded to a Fantastica cabin on deck 10. We loved the location and the cabin was lovely. We had room for everything but wish there was more drawers in the cabin but everything worked out great for the week. We were assigned 7:15pm dining in Ipanema at a table for two. Our waiters were awesome and had us in and out usually within one hour. We also had the drinks on us promotion. For the price we paid for the cabin it was excellent value for what we received. We loved the cruise and everything about the MSC Seaside. We are sailing again in Nov.

We are on the Dec 9 sailing so hopefully this one is not chartered and stopping at Panama but noticed Panama is removed from Itinerary listing on their website but the times are still showing and says docked. Just the port name removed. My emailed confirmation from MSC yesterday lists Panama so not sure what’s going on with the Dec 9 sailing now?
-
No, which date is half chartered?
-
We just booked today and our confirmation is showing Panama but after reading this, I went to the MSC website and Panama is not showing on the itinerary on their website, so now we are wondering, as we booked it for the Panama stop. We don’t mind the change to Aurba as we love Aruba but might have second thoughts on itinerary if ship does not stop in Panama.

The new set sail passes are per person. So everyone embarking needs their own. Each pass has one name per pass no matter the age. Use to have everyone in one cabin on one pass but the new ones don’t seem to.

Thank you for your posts. Looking forward to seeing your pictures, we just booked this ship doing Cuba from Miami. Glad to hear you enjoyed the ship.
-
This is great news and pricing seems very reasonable too compared to other lines now visiting Cuba. I like the over night in Cuba too 🙂

does anyone have recommendations for a tour company in Hamburg Germany? Looking for city tour with some time in Lübeck as well.

Once you’re status matched are you always that level or does it expire after a certain amount of time?
