  1. We were on the Oasis this past Halloween, and they had a huge Halloween party in the promenade. The whole promenade was lined with people in costumes. They played Thriller, and the dance team did a pretty good job along with many passengers. They even judged the best three costumes and gave out prizes. It was a lot of fun. I am glad we decided to take costumes, as we were not going to, but we would of been in the minority, if we did not. Dress up and enjoy the evening.

  2. You may want to look at Celebrity, we are just off the Equinox, had a great cruise and booked a 9 night southern Caribbean cruise for 2019, for only $150 per cabin. Sorry RCCL, my business will be going to Celebrity whenever I'm on a cruise.

Thank you for this information! I have been looking at booking the Equinox sailing Dec 2018, and was wondering if they received all the same changes with the Next Cruise Bookings on board as Royal Caribbean has. We are on Harmony of the Seas this Saturday, so guess we will make the switch to Celebrity as well for our next booking onboard. :D

  3. We will be on the Anthem for our fourth time this Dec and we sailed on Quantum as well which is basically the same ship. We love this class of ship and would book anytime we felt it was a good deal. We don't care about ports anymore the ships have become the destination for us lately, just to get away, be entertained and enjoy the food is basically why we cruise. Anthem has never disappointed us.

  4. I missed getting a cabin on July 20th when I posted this, as from the time I noticed the price drop, until I got a hold of Royal Caribbean the cabins were gone. They lasted less then 10 - 15 minutes from the time I first saw the price. I am very happy tonight as I was checking again and noticed they had Oceanview Balconies again for only $11 in the difference of what I originally booked for in the Neighborhood Balcony GTY so I was happy with that, and was able to get an Oceanview Balcony tonight. Less then a month to wait now until we get to sit on that balcony, so excited I can hardly wait. Thanks to everyone who replied to my post.

  5. We were on Adventure of the Seas in April, and muster drill was early, I am thinking it was before 5:30pm and you would have lots of time to fit in a specialty dining that evening. They do not take reservations at 5:30pm-6:00pm, as everyone has to attend the muster drill. I think the earliest reservations started around 6:30pm, which is when we went. It is such a great deal, and sure worth the $30 they are charging. We purchase it every cruise now, that it is being offered. Chops Grille on Adventure was one of the best one's we have been to, everything was cooked perfect.

  6. We booked a GTY Neighbourhood balcony on Harmony and about the third day ours was saying the same thing. I was like how can they be assigning us an Oceanview when we picked a balcony. A few days later we were assigned our Neighbourhood Balcony in Central Park so there was nothing to worry about but I did think it was kind of strange and sends off an alarm to you, but I would wait until your assignment as it should be correct when assigned.

  7. With the new non-refundable deposit, but past final payment date, can you move to a higher category that is actually cheaper then you booked? I booked yesterday Harmony of the Seas for Sept, in a Neighborhood Balcony GTY, and today the Oceanview Balcony GTY are $200+ less then I booked for yesterday. Does the price have to be higher when moving categories to be able to upgrade? I understand I will not get any refund or anything, but someone mentioned to me I cannot move categories unless I am paying a higher price? Is this true? Just thinking we might like the OceanView Balcony better then a Neighborhood, considering we would not have to put anymore money into it, and be out the $200+ but might have a better balcony if this is possible?

  8. We were on Anthem of the Sea's in March and the BOGO was there, we just booked the same ship again for December and unfortunately the BOGO is not showing at this time, but I am hoping at some point it will be added to our sailing. It's such a great value.

  9. I'm trying to understand the new non refundable deposit bookings, but have a question on if you're using a Future Cruise Certificate. If something happened and you needed to cancel before final payment do you just lose your certificate or do you still need to pay the full deposit to cancel? The certificate could not be moved to a different sailing like it could in the past? Sorry I just don't understand all the rules around the new non refundable deposits. Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.

    Thanks!

  10. No way of knowing for sure (unless someone has stayed in these rooms) as there are no connecting cabins in that block of cabins.

If I had to guess I would say that 12629 has the bed by the balcony and 631 has the bed by the bath. I say this because there are an even number of cabins in that block so they should still be in paired sets.

    Thank you! 😊

  11. We did this last Spring and loved it. I was a little worried sailing on an older ship that may not have all the bells and whistles of a newer ship but there was nothing to worry about. Ship was in fantastic shape, with wonderful crew, and one of our favourite sailings. The itinerary is fantastic. We loved Bruges and Amsterdam. We were to all the other ports before in previous sailings. Cobh / Cork is a wonderful port with visiting Blarney's castle. Copenhagen is very easy to get around on your own. The boat tour is wonderful. We had fantastic weather and would love to book it again for 2018. We will be watching prices and if we can get a deal like we did last year we will be booking again.

  12. Just wondering if Harmony of the Seas has the xlarge balconies in Central Park like on Oasis and Allure? It looks like they added an inside cabin there now so just wondering? Also read reviews of cabin stewards cleaning closet and bright lights in this area on Oasis and Allure? Anyone stayed in 12629 on Harmony and how did you like it? Would you recommend this cabin?

Any pictures of any of the following cabins?

    • 10229
    • 10629
    • 11229
    • 11629
    • 12229
    • 12629

Thanks so much sailing in Sept!

  13. We booked a cruise onboard purchasing a next cruise certificate and had the booking credited to a travel agency. We have since found a better price with amenities online with a different travel agency. Is it possible to move the certificate to a new agency? If so, how would you go about doing it? Could the new agency request it from Royal Caribbean or would we call Royal Caribbean and request it to be moved to a different agency?
