  1. Thanks so much for all this information. It is wonderful.

We will be in Hawaii in Nov 2011 and I have been researching for a week or more for excursions, and our port times do not work with a lot of private excursions we were hoping to do, so yesterday we decided to just rent cars in each port and do our own sightseeing thing .... this list/thread is really going to help us out so much! Thanks for sharing! :D

  2. Just wondering if anyone has ever used Premier Parking Ventures near the Miami Cruise Port? They are listing their parking prices at $7 per day which is much cheaper then the Miami Cruise Port which is $20 per day. Looking for someone who has used this company and would recommend them? Says on their website parking is in a locked and secure area, just would like to hear your comments before I book this reservation online ...

    thanks!

  3. we were in Barbados in Nov 2009 and, I cannot recommend "Heatwave" enough!

Wayne and Damien were fantastic, and really made the day for the 4 of us. They were great fun, and couldn't do enough for us! This was my sister and I’s first time snorkeling, and we did not know if we would enjoy it or not but booked it as it was something the guys wanted to do. If it was not for Damien taking over and hauling my sister and I around on our first stop, we likely would of not lasted in the water very long. Our first stop was over a ship wreck, and the water was very deep and fish everywhere. Damien made us feel very comfortable, and he was absolutely awesome!

For a 6 hour catamaran cruise for $75 each it was worth every penny!

Transportation was arranged with Tricia to be picked up at the cruise pier, which our ship was about an hour late docking but they waited for us. Once we saw the boatyard we knew it was going to be a great day.

Damien and Wayne were amazing on the catamaran and always offered to get us drinks and collect all our trash! The banana bread they had for the breakfast was very good, but the lunch was amazing. So yummy!

The weather was perfect, great music, and there were only 8 people on the catamaran ( 10 counting Wayne and Damien) so we had lots of space, and enjoyed it so much.

The best part of this tour was snorkeling with the Sea Turtles - they were so close, and swimming all around us! It was really cool as there were fish everywhere!

They served a very delicious lunch and had floating noodles for anyone who wanted to float around for about half hour after lunch before sailing back to the boatyard.

This is one of the very best tours we have ever done, and I would highly recommend looking them up and booking an excursion with then if you are in Barbados. You’ll be very happy you did!

  4. Hi

Here are a few pics of E109, on the Sapphire Princess.

This is a great cabin if you do not mind being all the way forward.

The view is very good, and not that obstructed. I think it is better then being in an obstructed on Emerald deck, as your dealing with lifeboats blocking most of the view. It was a balcony cabin, but since the pole from the bridge comes down on the balcony, they have put in a window, and you do not have access to the balcony. Pole from the bridge takes up very little of the view. I included a pic of the side of the ship, trying to show how the pole comes down on the balcony. Hope these pics help! Sorry I do not know how to make these pics big, but if you click on the thumbnails, they will come up larger.

Sorry this is C109 on the Sapphire Princess.. location is on Caribe Deck

  5. Here is a photo of partially obstructed Diamond cabin E326. We liked it. It was convenient, quiet, and as you can see, not much obstruction at all.

Wow! That is a great cabin! There does not look to be any obstruction in that photo at all. Definately one to keep in mind when thinking on booking an obstructive view stateroom.
