Chiming in from NJ…
I’m having the same “white screen” issue. I was hoping that it would be rectified by this morning but nope!
-
Hi Laurieal,
I am just a lurker and have not chimed in, but have followed your review since the beginning. It has been a lot of great fun! We sailed on the Wonder on April 1st, 2022. Loved the ship!
I, and I’m sure the rest of your followers, would love a recap of your thoughts.
Safe travels home!

I believe Icy Straight Point has a dock. We were there on the Radiance in 2018. . I’m sure we did NOT tender.
Have a wonderful trip. We loved it!

Are you like Michael Keaton in Duplicity and you've cloned yourself to be on two different ships on the same date? 🤔
Oops!
Wonder on 4/1/22
Odyssey on 4/9/22
A side2side cruise with one night in between!

Benny,
Thank you so much for the wonderful review and great pictures. You really entertained so many folks on this board through the week.
We will be on Wonder 04/08/22. I hope to like it as much as we love the newly revamped Oasis. We will be on Odyssey 04/08/22. I hope we like it as much as we love the Anthem.
Both of these ships sail from NJ. No flying!
However, we are willing to fly for a side 2 side on two new ships.

Hi Twangster,
Thank you for your wonderful review and fantastic photos. We will be on board April 8th. When is your April sailing?
Safe travels home!

Hi Merion Mom,
I know you are an avid cruiser. I have been following your excellent posts for years.
Out of curiosity, have you resumed sailing yet?
We sailed on the Oasis twice, and the Anthem once, all three sailings were out of Bayonne in Sept, Oct, and Nov 2021.
They were all wonderful cruises, but definitely a different vibe.

Hi again Radio!
We just sailed with you on the Oasis on 10/10/21.
Our next sailing is also 11/28 on the Anthem! This will be our last cruise this year. I booked this cruise over a year ago at a very nice price.
The Oasis cruises we sailed on (Sept 5th and Oct 10th) were spur of the moment bookings. The prices were a little steep, but after not sailing for almost 2 years I did not care ☺️
Our next sailing is a side 2 side (S2S) out of Fort Lauderdale:1 week on Wonder
1 night in a hotel
1 week on Odyssey (actually 8 nights)
2 new ships in a row…exciting!
Have a great cruise on the Anthem!

Beautiful photos Radio. We were also on this cruise (10/10/21 only). We were up top deck at 5:00am to see the Verrazano Bridge crossing before we docked.
Cold and windy, but fun.
I was hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous Radio, but no such luck!

Yes, did you not get the e-mail which spells out the health & safety protocols.
Testing
Pre-Cruise: Within 3 days of your sailing’s departure date and before your arrival to the terminal, all guests 2 years and older are required to present a negative COVID-19 Test Result (antigen or PCR.) Proper documentation (printed negative test results or negative test results presented on your phone) from an accredited laboratory (no doctor’s notes) is required to sail. All costs for this test are the guest's responsibility and must be done on their own, not at the terminal. At the terminal: Unvaccinated guests ages 2 to 11 are required to take a PCR test for COVID-19 when checking in at the terminal. Registration details for this test will be sent via email in advance. This test is complimentary.
PS: I'm also on the Sept. 5th sailing on Oasis
I think I saw the word “antibody”, not “antigen” on CVS website. All is clear now. We just scheduled our test 😀.
So looking forward to this sailing!

Hi all,
I hope I have this right…
We are fully vaccinated, so we only need the antigen test, not the PCR test, correct?
We are sailing from Bayonne NJ on the Oasis of the Seas on Sept 5th…

My hubby and I are also booked on this cruise.
It is an 8 night cruise. Some months ago, the CDC said no cruises over 7 nights until 11/01/21. It was shortly after that announcement that this cruise went missing from Royal sailings. This cruise is due to set sail on 10/30/21.
I still have heard nothing from Royal concerning this cruise. Final payment to our big box travel agent is due in about 2 weeks.

Thanks to all, and happy sailing!

We are booked on the last Caribbean sailing on Odyssey of the Seas in April 2022. The ship then sails a transatlantic. There will be no dry dock. Should this impact our sailing? It is the second leg of a B2B.
Thanks!

Thanks so much for your help in answering this question!

I did a lift and shift from April 2021 to April 2022. This cruise was on Odyssey of the Seas, and the cruise was cancelled by Royal. I thought I still could cancel the 2022 cruise, although I have no plans to do so at this time, under the CWC. I’m confused!

Hi Lu!
The Esplanade is two story, while the Promenade is one story. The Esplanade definitely is tighter...smaller, narrower and more cramped. All stores are located on the lower level. The upper level has restaurants, Bionic Bar and not much else. We use the upper level to cut through en-route to a destination.
Both are nice, but we prefer the Promenade. Since we sail the Anthem of the Seas frequently as Bayonne is only an hours drive from home, we have gotten used to the Esplanade. It is hard to describe the Esplanade without seeing it, as it is very different that other royal ships. As others have said, it starts straight, then veers to the side of the ship. It is not a straight line.
At this point, I’ll take either! 🤓

Issue with Royal website for checking prices
in Royal Caribbean International

The white screen has already been occurring for 27 hours…
An hour or so, I can see. Maintenance issue, a bug in the system etc, but not 27 hours 🤷♀️
