  1. I agree with another commenter that I think they have made the changes they plan to make. Also, that time of year the Silhouette is doing those short itineraries.
  2. I believe they still pay port fees. And the amount of port fees is going to be higher for any itinerary that doesn't also stop at another Bahamas port on the itinerary (like some of the new Reflection ones that only go to key West and Coco Cay).
  3. It's a cucumber flavored gin based martini. It's on the M and S class Martini Bar menus.
  4. I'm surprised they aren't advertising the soon to be opened adults only Hideaway Beach in these FAQs. It should be open before any Celebrity ship arrives at Coco Cay.
  5. The food is complimentary. The specialty coffees are a charge although are included in drink packages.
  6. Happy hour is at most bars from a limited menu. And yes, church attire would be fine. Generally shorts are not allowed in the MDR in the evening but beyond that you will see everything from khakis and polo shorts to more formal wear.

Yes, the same set of menus is used on every ship although the exact order changes based on your sailing length. You can see menus in the app. Find where it says switch sailing or browse to another sailing and pick your ship and the current sailing. They may not perfectly match your cruise but will give you an idea what is offered. FYI - they are testing some new menus right now on the Equinox so what you see is test menus that may or may not become permanent with or without further changes. You can also browse to another ship if you want to see what the rest of the fleet currently has for menus.
  8. Crew to passenger ratio even outside the Retreat Towels in the bathroom Not needing to check out pool towels Turndown service (I don't need a full cleaning and do Go Green, but it's nice to have dirty glasses/dishes removed and my room checked on a second time) Sky Lounge on M and S class ships A Eurekatini from the Martini Bar on embarkation day The aft seating area outside the buffet The spa cafe Just being at sea
  9. Royal Caribbean has been planning and started construction on Hideaway Beach on Coco Cay that is going to be an adults only area. Last estimates I heard was that it would open by the end of this year but I don't know if it is still on time. This will expand the amount of space for passengers and give a kids free zone. This may have been in the works with the ultimate intention of expanding access to this island for Celebrity.
  10. Just looking at the Beyond and Reflection schedules for June 2024, no. The Beyond sailings stop at Coco Cay on a Monday. Monday is the turnaround day for the Reflection (3 night is Friday to Monday, 4 night is Monday to Friday). And that isn't even considering how difficult it would be for RCCL ships to be be swapped. If they were planning to do that, I think they would have done it when developing these Celebrity itineraries.
  11. Just looking at the port schedule for June of 2024 plus the new bookings on Celebrity's website, the Beyond and the Reflection do not stop at Coco Cay on the same day. And on each day the Beyond or the Reflection are scheduled for Coco Cay, there is a Royal Caribbean ship scheduled for that same day. The Beyond is often paired with the Wonder of the Seas. The Reflection's schedule seems to mostly match up with the Freedom of the Seas.
  12. It doesn't look like the Silhouette and Reflection will really overlap on these short itineraries. The Silhouette heads to Europe about the time the Reflection starts these itineraries.
  13. We are considering something like the Adventure of the Seas for a Family cruise to the ABC islands so now with the Beyond itineraries out, I just compared the two. I was looking at 8 night cruises to the ABC islands from Florida for early August of 2024. For a mid-ship veranda (which I recognize is an infinite veranda on the Beyond and a standard one on the Adventure), it's $4900 on the Adventure and $2500 on the Beyond (cruise only fares)! Adding AI to the Beyond fare brings it up to $4000 which is still less than the cruise only fare for the older RCCL ship. One difference is that these Beyond itineraries were released today so there hasn't been a chance for prices to increase with demand yet. The Adventure itineraries were released late last year. But can that account for such an upside downing pricing? Edit to add: Just did the same thing with a 4 night Bahamas and CocoCay itinerary comparing the Reflection to the Freedom of the Seas, and I see a similar pricing disparity (with Celebrity a lot cheaper).
  14. If you are in a suite, Luminae. If you are in Concierge class, the MDR. The Mast Grill will likely be open. And for a fee, Sushi on 5 will likely be open.
  15. I didn't spend any time in the casino on the Prima but smoking was a huge issue at the Metropolitan Bar (which had great drinks so I wish I had been able to spend more time there). The Cigar Lounge is right next to that bar and there is not a good seal or maybe the doors just open too often. @poffles The casino on the Prima does allow smoking, it's just in a separate fully enclosed room.
  16. Yes, the ship didn't move until about midnight the second day on our cruise. I don't recall anything special for sail away (and I'm not seeing anything when I scan the planners) but to be honest, I wasn't up that late with all the touring we did in O'ahu and the excursion plans for Maui the next day. Once we checked in on day 1, we could come and go as we liked and the gangway stayed open through the night. And then they did offer quite a few excursions on day 2.
  17. Then don't leave a comment. I was responding to your post that seemed to imply there were no traditional forms to leave comments anymore. If you want to leave a comment, you can go to guest services and write a hand written on. If you don't, then don't. If you would rather walk away from a company without giving them feedback and a chance to improve, that is absolutely your choice. Furthermore, I am not aware of anything during a Celebrity cruise that requires a phone. You still get paper menus. Your sea pass card still opens your cabin and can be used to charge things to your account. Celebrity still hands out paper daily schedules. You can make dining reservations in person or using the cabin telephone. If you want, you can leave your phone in the safe for the cruise or not bring it at all.
  18. You can get the same comment card from guest services. Or you can use an iPad to scan the QR code to have a larger screen to enter your comments. I have heard that it is worth it to submit written comments in whatever format is most comfortable for you while on board.
  19. I sat on the promenade as we approached Maui just after sunrise, a moment that has stayed with me, and it definitely was magical.
  20. A Horizon Suite? Are you sure you have the right name for your cabin type? I am not aware of a Horizon Suite on the Silhouette or any Celebrity ships.
  21. NCL has separated the smoking section of their casino (with walls and doors) from the non-smoking section on some ships and then they have an enclosed cigar lounge but it isn't perfect as smoke still escapes those rooms (at least on the ship I was most recently on). Also, my understanding is that Australia has stricter smoking laws and so many cruises in Australia do not allow smoking in the casino.
  22. I would be very surprised if part of the algorithm didn’t take into consideration how much they can get for your current cabin. They are going to want to maximize revenue.
  23. If you get a chance, take a trip out to Kualoa Ranch. It has been used to film portions of many movies and tv shows (including Hawaii Five-O, Lost, Jumanji, Jurassic World, Jurassic Park, Godzilla, etc.) and the scenery is breathtaking.
  24. The only of the three Cozumel piers that I have found an advance schedule for is the one Carnival Corp uses unfortunately. Once you are about a week out, this website should list your specific pier but I realize a week out doesn't give you time to plan excursions.https://cozumelinsider.com/?Page=CruiseShips&Sort=Arrival I expect one of the Edge Class ships to end up at the downtown pier but your guess is as good as mine.
  25. We were just on the Eclipse Honolulu to Vancouver cruise in May. The pools were pretty busy the first two sea days (and we did have some rough seas one of those days). And then it got cool and foggy and most people moved indoors.
