Our cruise docks at 5am in Barcelona. What time do they generally disembark in Barcelona? We have an 11:30am flight. Not sure if we should take the cruise transfer, or just a cab. Thank you.

I read that there was a long walk to get to the taxis? I'm not sure if that was NCL specific or not.

Hi, we disembark in Barcelona and have to get the airport. I was going to pre-book a car service, but I cant find any that don't contain reviews about drivers not picking them up! Our flight is at 11:25am, and the ship docks pretty early - 5 am. Should we just do the NCL transfers? It's $37.50pp.

I have 3 in a Haven cabin for a 10-night cruise, and our drink package gratuities are $654. It's $21.80 per person, per day. We were on this cruise. We watched them get escorted off in Puerto Rico!

Another question regarding the internet. Did you notice how much they were charging for the unlimited internet once onboard? I think recall someone saying not to pre-purchase that because it was cheaper once you were onboard?

Did you feel crowded with 3 in your cabin? I am considering downgrading from the Haven to a mini-suite for 3 of us, primarily because it's a 10-day cruise with a port each day (med cruise). My only concern is being on top of each other in the cabin.

We no longer add additional funds. I'm having a hard time justifying what is automatically added. Subpar service, reduced service, etc. I would rather remove them and tip the people providing service directly to me. After decades of cruising, this may end up being a first for me.

First world problem here, but I'm really having a hard time with picking a Haven cabin for our upcoming Mediterranean cruise. There will be 3 adults. I initially booked the forward facing cabin, with the intent to bid to upgrade into a 2-bedroom (i know, it's not guaranteed). I'm flopping back and forth between the forward facing that I currently have booked, and the aft-facing ($2,300 more) for the 2nd bathroom and bigger cabin. This is a port intensive cruise, so other than dinners, I'm not sure how much use we will get out of the Haven itself. Still, my issue with the aft is that it's so far away from the Haven area (although that balcony and the views would be amazing). Getting off the ship for excursions, or exiting on the last day, or whatever, all requires us to go all the way forward and then up to the Haven. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I am really flopping back and forth between these 2 categories. What would you do?

On the latitudes chart, it says that the Platinum level meals are for 2, per stateroom. We have 3 Platinum's traveling in the same suite. Does this mean person #3 loses their benefit? Edited - I'm so sorry. I just found the answer. The 3rd and/or 4th guest still receives the benefit.

Hi, I'm looking to purchase one way flight insurance, in case I need to cancel my trip. We are US residents, but our flights over to Europe were purchased using miles, and we do not need insurance for that. Coming home, we are flying from Barcelona to the US. My beginning travel date and my end travel date would be the same. Is this the correct way to purchase insurance to cover us in the event that we have to cancel our flight?

Hi - I'm looking at a flight on TAP Air from Miami to Venice. The flight has a stopover in Lisbon, but it's only 1 hour and 10 minutes. According to the schedule, where we land and takeoff again will be in the same terminal. Do you think this is ok, or should I look for a flight with a longer layover? I never imagined I would fly this airline, but the price is right.

We are only going to have a day and half in Rome before boarding our cruise. Before leaving for the cruise ship, we are going to see the Vatican, so that really only leaves us one day to see the Trevi, Colosseum, and whatever else is nearby. What hotel would you recommend? A/C is a must. It will be the end of June. Edited - We do currently have the Smeraldo booked. Just wondering if this is the best choice for our situation? Thanks!
