We are cruising in a balcony room on the Dawn in August. We have been on Celebrity before and loved the pillow menu in Concierge Class.
Is is there anything similar on NCL? Are body pillows available?
No pillow menu when we sailed her last Feb, but really, really comfy pillows were standard. When I got home, I missed them so much I went and bought new pillows trying to replicate 🙂

@RIvacationgirl thanks for the positive review on Dawn!!! Going in the ship in October, and some of the reviews have been brutal
Don't believe everything you read...we LOVE the Dawn!! Awesome service, great size to navigate around, and just over all positive vibe on this wonderful ship! You will love her!

I found their customer reps to be very pleasant and competent. I prefer phone calls.
Same! Mine was wonderful!

I've applied 2 CN deposits before and did not have to log out and sign in again. Just applied one, went back to payment page, checked off a second one and clicked.
Good info, thanks!

I usually wait until the end of the month prior to my cruise, depending on the sailing date. I sail on 10/26 so I'll send in my 9/30 statement. If I were sailing in the first half of the month, I'd send in the 8/31 statement.
FTR, I just submitted for my first RCL shareholder benefit. I haven't sailed RC since my 2nd cruise in 2003 but have read that their lines have always denied the OBC when you have ANY sort of discounted fare or one that includes perks. Well, that changed as of any bookings after 6/1. I submitted for my May 2021 X sailing and had it approved! Kind of defeats the purpose of requiring that passengers are shareholders at the time they sail, doesn't it! I figured I'd send it in and get it applied before they changed their minds. 😁
Good to know...we are both CCL and RCCL shareholders, and have an upcoming discounted fare cruise with RCCL coming up in September...so wasn't hoping for much. Will def look into it since you said things changed in June.

I do understand. We always read reviews and use reputable companies who have good cancellation polices and some have return to ship guarantee. Fortunately we have never been close to late for a trip. 15 cruises never did a Carnival excursion. FYI, snorkel trip to Turtle Cove is $75, book it online for $55
Same! After our 1st cruise, we learned to use 3rd party and have only always had a wonderful time! These tours or excursions are their jobs, and cruisers are their "bread and butter" and they bend over backwards to take care of you. We will probably never book through cruise lines again...

Here is what you get for $50:
Fixed price is per person, applies to select menu items and includes (1) miso soup, (1) choice of starter, (1) choice of signature roll or ramen, (5) pieces sashimi or nigiri, and (1) choice of dessert. Choices are limited to current menu offerings in the specific menu category listed. No substitutions allowed. No discount or refund will be given for unused courses. All other menu items may be purchased for an additional change.
That wouldn't be $50 per person in a great Sushi restaurant near me.
Agreed! We usually get 1 roll each, and egg drop or miso soup....not a good deal at all for $50 each!

We always book independent tours. Usually much less $, sometimes as much as half what cruise lines charge for same excursion. Look into reputable, well reviewed excursions offered through various sites. If hundreds of cruisers gave it 5 stars you know it's going to be great!

They do use fuzzy math. I love when pricing a cruise on line. The price comes up exactly the same whether or not you punch in all the things that could net you lower fare....over 55, Military, Florida resident or Diamond member.
We’ve been loyal to Royal long time but lots of cruise lines offer the same or close to the same experience at lower fares. We are going to start shopping around!
We love RCCL too, but am of the same mindset as you are becoming, and that is we are loyal to our wallets, not a cruise line! Have found GREAT deals on Carnival, and NCL, when we looked at 90 day or less ticker. Start there, if you can manage to pay total when you book. They offer deep discounts when they know they have vacant rooms and not much time to sell them...just sayin 🙂

We had lobster on Day 5, the last night of our cruise.
That's surprising and wonderful news! I am a huge seafood lover, and it doesn't get any better than lobster, IMO. Thanks for the hope! 🙂

NCL food is far superior, especially desserts, IMO. We love cruising and like CCL, RCCL, And NCL for different reasone, but the desserts on NCL are pretty awesome!!
