Do they still offer the package for the day on the island if so how and when do you order it? Can i pre order it?

My surprise was that he mentioned the "High Score" on the Amsterdam.  That ship is used mainly for Grand and World Voyages.  Not too many families are on that ship unless they go to Alaska in the summer.  I hope they will not move ships around for those voyages.

I didn't hear Amsterdam anywhere, he did say it would be on nieuw Amsterdam February 2020   

We were on a last cruise with a very cute little one ( my teen was very grateful they let her play with him a lot, they were in the cabana beside us, made her cruise way more enjoyable) they said they contacted HAL and were given lots of amazing advise, like if you can bring a collapsable wagon, they were able to use it during the day on board then at night it took up less space then a babybed they just added padding for sleeping in

The website mentions that if kids under 12 order from the regular menus, they are half price and if they order from the kids menu, they are free. I know she will not be free because of her age but if she orders from the kids menu, do they make any kind of reduction? I don't mind paying the extra fee to eat in the specialty restaurants, but I would hate to pay $39/$25 for my daughter to eat chicken fingers 🙂

 I dont think that is on HALs website at all, i think that is miss information from a third party site. I know we paid full price for our daughter 

Last march we took our then 14 yr old to the PG, she isnt picky but she didnt like it. This cruise she asked if she could skip it when we go

We booked a lido cabana for our cruise on the NA in march the price was the same this time as last april and the same on that info above. Last year the menu was the same as the lido buffet just scaled down a bit and the dive-in menu, drinks was the bar menu, ( you pay for drinks) in the afternoon we were offered sparkling wine, always large bottles of water on ice in the cabana every morning 

We booked a cruise for spring break, I think in late September , we paid $1700 canadian for 2 adults 1 child in a veranda room, i just called to ask about the latest promo with the free drinks, which our cruise is eligible it can totally be added but the price goes to  $3400 lol. Thats more then if we added the drink package on our own for all 3 of us lol. I am very happy we booked when we did. 

We were on the veendam 2 easters ago, there was not really a special easter dinner it was one of the 2 regular gala nights, there was a easter egg hunt in the lobby for-the kids, there were 300 kids on board since it was a school holiday. There was also an easter service  

We have had quench twice now, canned soda yes, they would easily give us a few cans the end of the night to bring to the room, no dr pepper ( my teens fav) you used to get the big bottles of still water and sparkling, i believe its single serve 300 ml ? Sparkling, 500 ml still

Well the first 2 on your list are not on HAL, the food is ok i would compare it to a decent chain restaurant, we have sailed disney and carnival, holland america 3 times just because its the cheapest for a get away

Those you dont prebook, the ship services makes a random time for you and puts the card in your room 

We purchase as much as we can before we board just so its done and paid for so we have the cabana done, gratuities, drink packages and laundry all paid so far for a cruise in march.  

No you cant we had this issue last cruise, we had $100 to use the last night, we bought a nice bottle of wine and then gave out teens the cards to buy their friends mocktails to use it up we had a drink package and out teens had the quench package, our TA gave us beverage cards 

Cans i think only one or maybe 2 ships have the free style machines

We get the kids the quench package, we were told we couldn't turn off their spending and still have their packages work, normally on every other cruise we do turn it off

No we booked the cruise this week and the cruise is next march
