  1. So far they refunded port charges of about $5 per person for missing St. Kitts port. I have not checked to see what the refund was for missing Barbados.
  2. Yes, disapointed that Barbados port is cancelled for tomorrow. I hope we will be able to visit our remaining ports.
  3. We received our patter tonight and it does list Martinique as our port of call for tomorrow. Thanks for your responses and the CDC link with the no. of cases reported at that time. Yes, we have witnessed a number of passengers not washing their hands going into the buffet even at this time.
  4. I posted the question here in case someone on our ship may have more information than we have been told. Our roll call is no longer listed or I would have posted my question there. I know this happens on cruise ships, but this is our eighth cruise and fortunately the first time for us. Thanks to anyone on our sailing with any more information.
  5. We are currently on the Caribbean Princess and have been informed of gastrointestinal illness of a number of passengers. Passengers are not allowed to serve themselves in the buffet. Crew serves all drinks, hands you plates, silverware, etc. We were just informed St Kitts port has been cancelled due to this tomorrow. Does anyone on board know how many cases there are or any other information? Lots of sanitizing is going on throughout the ship. Thanks for any information.
  6. Thanks for the info. We were on the Sky in Dec. and no shorts were allowed in the dining room except the first night (we did not go the dining room the last night). My husband will be happy if he is able to wear nice dress shorts and a collared shirt to the dining room on non-formal nights.
  7. In the daily compass, they would tell you if they had the ice show that day. It said which ice show to attend by your muster station. I believe the shows were at 1 and 3 pm. I did not see anyone checking to see if people arriving to see the show had the correct muster station for the show. It was a very good show. I believe there were 3 days that had the ice show.
  8. 1/10 sailing, the rock and roll band Private Stock performed in the theater two nights in a row and they were very good, but they got off the ship to perform in Aruba after those shows. I do not remember seeing the other bands you mentioned.
  9. We have not been on a Princess cruise in the dining room for dinner where they allowed shorts or t-shirts except, they will allow shorts to be worn the first night since some folks may not have not had their suitcases delivered to their cabin. We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess on Feb 2, so we shall see if the dress code has changed in this regard.
  10. Has anyone used the complimentary garage shuttle to get to another terminal for another sailing on a different cruise line? Princess to Holland America.
  11. Thanks for your review. We were on the same sailing. We were very disapointed in the movies under the stars that were shown which is a favorite activity of mine on the ship. We watched the movies Judy and A Rainy Day in New York and we thought they both were awful. They showed The Upside as an on demand movie choice in the cabin which was very good. We did enjoy watching football on the movie screen. The picture quality on the movie screen was better (clearer) than the Regal and Royal. Popcorn served on deck during the movies was terrible. It had no taste.
  12. We were just on the Sky Princess, Baja deck (deck 11) with a balcony. The balcony is the same size as the Regal. They are big enough for two chairs without footrests and a small round table. I did notice the balconies beneath us were deeper and did have footrests, but no overhang. If you travel with family/friends the cabin steward can take down the balcony divider, so you have one longer balcony to share with your next door neighbor. Not sure if that applies to all cabins/balconies, but it did for ours and our friend's in the cabin next door which was nice.
  13. Yes, we purchased a number of these $500 gift cards with $25 bonus cards promo during the Father's Day promo. We received emails with each $500 gift card and $25 bonus card (separate pages for each card). Applied all to cruise payments. If you have a problem buying multiple cards, wait 24 hours and try to buy another one. You can only buy one at a time/per transaction.
  14. We got an email from Princess that our deck is to board at 4 pm.
  15. Our cruise is 12/7 on the Sky. Medallions were received today, 11/20.
