On the Crown right now and the Cruise Director announced before production show, "Eat, eat, eat as many main entrées as you want". No extra charge on this ship inbound Hawaii, nor was there on the Discovery 3 months ago.

She understandably thought it was disgusting and we agreed. A cold, hard frisbee puck for lunch is disgusting and yes that was our opinion. She said he was too cheap to buy her lunch.

We met a lady on a cruise years ago and her husband made her pack one of those breakfast English muffin type sandwiches in a napkin to take ashore for lunch. Needless to say we thought it was disgusting and he was a cheapskate.

Sailing to Hawaii on the Crown right now, looking forward to dining out on the different islands again and experiencing some new dishes, any recommendations?

After reading all these comments thinking we may have to try an inside cabin sometime. We book minis every cruise except for May sailings to Alaska we book oceanview as it's pretty cold in May. We were always concerned it would feel claustrophobic without a window.

It is still our guilty pleasure, onboard we watch the old series on the stateroom t.v. 😁

We have sailed on the Discovery twice in the last year and Crown/Ruby as well they all have had twice daily service/ turn down. No chocolate anymore like someone else has mentioned.
