    We never cruise without insurance. Last cruise a couple weeks ago to Hawaii we witnessed another medical Coast Guard evacuation.

    On the last several Princess cruises there have been two veteran get together days/times posted on the apps "ship's journey section". We have enjoyed going in the past and always meet some great people and hear some amazing stories

    Nope I don't live in the past, 🤣 content in the present and not having a chocolate on my pillow or not having double entrées changes my mood in the least. Happy sailing!

    On the Crown right now and the Cruise Director announced before production show, "Eat, eat, eat as many main entrées as you want". No extra charge on this ship inbound Hawaii, nor was there on the Discovery 3 months ago.

    She understandably thought it was disgusting and we agreed. A cold, hard frisbee puck for lunch is disgusting and yes that was our opinion. She said he was too cheap to buy her lunch.

    We met a lady on a cruise years ago and her husband made her pack one of those breakfast English muffin type sandwiches in a napkin to take ashore for lunch. Needless to say we thought it was disgusting and he was a cheapskate.

    Sailing to Hawaii on the Crown right now, looking forward to dining out on the different islands again and experiencing some new dishes, any recommendations?

    Same, convenient/inexpensive and in the room when we board, on board the Crown sailing to Hawaii right now and bought 4.

    Yes and everybody boasts about how many cruises they have been on. 🥱

    I can't believe it's not butter AGAIN. Nit pick thread rears it's complaining head again.

    After reading all these comments thinking we may have to try an inside cabin sometime. We book minis every cruise except for May sailings to Alaska we book oceanview as it's pretty cold in May. We were always concerned it would feel claustrophobic without a window.

    It is still our guilty pleasure, onboard we watch the old series on the stateroom t.v. 😁

    We have sailed on the Discovery twice in the last year and Crown/Ruby as well they all have had twice daily service/ turn down. No chocolate anymore like someone else has mentioned.

    We are prior military/old school too but honestly nothing stays the same in life and the value/cost of cruising sure beats hotel and food prices these days. We board with reasonable expectations and glasses half full not empty and have a great time despite little annoyances that may pop up. Gratitude changes even a bleak looking buffet choice. Enjoy your 21 days at sea and happy sailing!

    The coffee card trade for mini bar is gone. There have been many changes but that applies to nearly every corporation since Covid. In spite of the cutbacks we are loyal Princess cruisers. Hope you enjoy your next cruise, happy sailing!

    We nearly had that issue so I called our card company a month or so ago and they issued new cards early. Blue line moves pretty fast from what I have seen in the past. Happy Sailing!

    We were just on Discovery and I saw people eating there at lunchtime.

    We have cruised in May and August (ten day cruises) we never saw a single mosquito either cruise.

    This time about 12 days out. Last cruise 2 days out.
