The gusts seem to be getting worse up north also. I don’t like the wind, especially with the neighbors big trees around me.

We had 6 tornados last Saturday morning here in Northern Arkansas, very unusual and flat line winds which knocked down weaker trees.  We have 30 trees down on our property at the top of a mountain, some as big as 2 feet in diameter and 60-80 ft tall...WHAT IS GOING ON!

  2. Yes, they offer a wheel chair and will push her onboard and assuming the walker folds up you can carry it until you board.  You don't need to tell them about a walker.  They are only concerned about scooters and wheelchairs and whether they fit through the doors.  You will need to get in touch with the special needs department to request this service.

And seriously, I did just receive a Royal Caribbean casino offer today. 😄

Lucky you, you just hit the jackpot! Casino RoyaleSM invites you to set
sail on an award-winning ship and get your next payout in paradise.
Enjoy $25 OFF your next cruise plus $25 FREEPLAY to use on all your
favorite games onboard. Your exclusive offer can be applied to any
sailing departing by December 31, 2024 and is combinable with
    the current Royal Caribbean
® sale — so what are you waiting for?

But I don't think $50 is enough to entice me to spend several thousand on a cruise right now. LOL. 🙄

Well some have told me you just have to look at spending your limit as purchasing another cruise...nothing is really free except if you win an amount like you did or if you end up with $90 more than you came with, but that doesn't get you free cruises, you have to count all the $$ you put in. And we only cruise 2 times a year and I "may" elect to put $100 or more into a bandit fully realizing I will most likely lose it all, so how can I accumulate enough points?  For us it may not be worth it except for the fun.  It was really fun!  So just count it as entertainment right.  We'd have to invest a lot more money and cruise more to really get enough for the offers, right?

    we left up $90

But now give us the figure you spent to get the $90!  It all sounds good until you do the win/spend figure, the break even figure....so you put in the machine maybe $500 maybe more just to get $90 back and some points?  It doesn't make sense to those of us who have to sacrifice the cruise fund and then play for 3 hrs and lose every penny........like me.....😥

Show me the extrapolation of what cruises you "won" with fares compared with all the money you've gambled..then we'll see.  I've looked at all the material/pamphlets etc and the real money is just not worth it to lose outa my pocket.  I sure had fun though at the magic drums bandit. But I only earned 79 pts or something and it disappeared along with my initial $250 in the machine at the end of March.

    Weird...

"1. Stay Cautious Near Railings: It might be tempting to lean over the railings for a selfie, but always maintain a safe distance."

Nobody has ever accidentally slip over the railing...

Yes they have Skier...I know of one personally, well incidentally anyways.  On Grand Princess sailing out of the Galveston port as it was just getting dark going into the Gulf, my best friend and her 2 daughters witnessed a rescue of a couple who were completely nude when they hauled them in, they were unharmed she said but many witnessed this...obvious what happened.😲

I found a news item, it was 2007:

Hey it was mentioned on Cruise Critic too:

The cloud 17 plunge pool was tiny and yet kids were still trying to swim in it.

I think they should have kept this one for adults only along with the swim up bar AND the Hideaway.  There are still plenty of pools for kids and this would keep them in their area in Surfside.  I'm going to write to my contact at Corporate and suggest this right now.  This was my pet peeve on Carnival Jubilee.  There were two infinite edge pools on the back but we never stuck our toes in because of screaming, splashing kids in it.  They were even in the two lap hot tubs which is supposed to be for swimming in place, but no such luck with kids in them all the time.  The only place we didn't see them much was in their own play pool areas...HA!  It won't keep us off Icon though, I love the ship and our cruise is not until September...ain't scared o'no kids, I can stare down the toughest kid.  Don't even have to say..."GET OUT!", think the liquid mercury cop in Terminator  LOL. But will have to find a better price or win a bunch of money in casino! 😍

Sitting at our resort pass hotel passing some time. Was able to combine my wife's instant certificate from gambling this trip with mine and booked a grand suite on oasis later this year. Can't beat being on icon comped, left the casino for the week slightly ahead, and was able to get the grand suite from our play. Love it!

Dang, I wished.  For the first time ever, I had $250 to play with last month and I lost every cent, but happily played the 3 Happy Drums game for almost 3 hrs, but alas, never got the big bonus I was hoping for.  How do you guys do it?  I planned to move around to other machines as instructed, but I kept advancing so I stuck it out...did I do wrong?

  8. Ours is an accessible interior, we paid $2823 all in. Including travel policy and grats.

My DH and I have discussed a bit the mandatory 2 year stint in the military that some countries require.  I'm not saying I would have jumped for joy if I had needed to do this at 18 but I can see the value of it.

Our remaining child has already served 13 yrs, seems like she recruited yesterday!, My Grandson, other dd's has been in 6 yrs already, both have performed well and garnered their share of honors so will retire with some bucks and then who knows, both sides of our family all military, Navy, Army Special Forces and my hubs Air Force.  I can think of no better place to be than the service for any kid.

  10. Katie and her siblings came out from under our porch to eat some kibble I gave them and the first outa my mouth was "I gotta get me that cat".  She was the only Siamese fathered kitten and she was gorgeous.  We trapped her and she has been the best most affectionate cat I've ever had.  But she does stare at you like..."OK, where's the meat"
