  1. I know it is still available if you "know to ask" but this was always popular item, and if it is de facto still available, why not just add it back to the menus? Always a great selection. Can't understand why it's on the "secret" menu now and gone from standard menus.

What other secret items exist in practical application (Indian dishes usually, delicious)?

    Bob....steak fries?

My teen son is a very healthy eater. He usually eats grilled chicken for dinner. Although not on the menu, they were able to always accommodate his request.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for.

  2. Here is how cruise line math works.

(a=b) + yz/8.90976+56= 7.98 . Now take the sum and divide that number by a factor of 4875.975% take that total and add 8.37767% or (az=bx / 4.786677) then simply subtract .00000005664 x the total of az as illustrated in the example above. Then take the integer of the whole # and multiply that by 2.34648763 %. That is how you calculate cruise line pre-boarding discounts.

If you cant follow this simple formula. I don’t know how else to help you guys.

  3. OK, this is a question I think a lot of people would like to discuss! People now are connected 24x7 to the world. Be it social media or work. It's now too easy to be contacted but in some cases, that's a good thing. I see more and more people on cruises with their face buried in a smart phone or a tablet posting to Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat. To me (maybe I'm getting old.. ugh) a cruise is a time to cut off contact from the world and enjoy a relaxing time in a lounge chair with a drink and letting the stress of your real life melt away for a precious few day.

My question is why do you get the WIFI package and what do you do with it?

I am self employed. I must be connected 24/7. When i take a vacation, my clients world cant stop. If I’m not accessible, i would not have business to return to. My clients would simply go elsewhere. Thats what i do with the WiFi pkg.

As far as SM, not my thing. However, people find it relaxing to be connected to a larger world. I for one dont need FB, SC, Instagram. I really don’t care what the Kardashians are doing. I follow nobody and luckily nobody wants to follow me. They would die of boredom.

  4. I wish quest was cancelled. Its is deplorable to watch adults act like drunk fools. Women lifting shirts to take off braziers in full view of hundreds of fellow passengers, doing provocative gyrations some times in mini skirts. Cross dressing. Men wearing the bras. Im a christian, why do i have to be subjected to this on my vacation. St

Id sinners. Your going straight to hell for allowing this.

  5. If a ship (Grandeur) has something not functioning (stabilizer) properly and I don't want to go and be sick most of the time, do I have the right to a refund? It also has an engine that is broken and in need of repair. The repairs will not be made until after our cruise. People who have just returned on her have stated that many were sick including crew and performers. Shows were cancelled. People who have cruised frequently said it was far worse than anything they had experienced. Since Grandeur goes back and forth along the east coast, this is a huge problem. I'm very worried about leaving on Saturday. I do use scopalomine patches, but I'm afraid under these circumstances, they won't work. Thoughts? Thank you!

You have very little if any recourse. Especially since you have advanced knowledge of an issue. The cruise lines have legions of lawyers to fight you in Florida since that is where you must file suit.

You would spend 20x the amount of the cruise fare to fight this issue.

At best, maybe they would give you some minuscule compensatory (good faith) voucher.

It sounds to me like you are just going just to be an opportunist. If that is your motive. I wish you well. And i sure hope the cruise lines attorneys have a sense of humor.

  6. Thank you for giving 7/11 pizza the respect it deserves. Sure it's terrible, but it's also delicious. If that make any sense

Its a guilty pleasure. Its the same way i feel a white castle. They are soooo gross, but amazing at the same time.

  7. RCI’s Pizza is among the worst on any ship i have been on. It’s akin to a frozen heat-n-eat from the grocery freezer section. Disney, princess, carnival, HAL, NCL much better. It is busy because after 9:30 thats it except for RS.

  8. We like to dress up for dinner. My husband rents a tux from the ship so he doesn’t have to pack a suit. I wear an evening gown on formal nights. We just took four kids from 20-26 with us on a cruise. They all dressed up every night and actually really enjoyed dinner. I wore a dress every night for dinner. I know people say they don’t like to dress up on vacation. Then don’t go the the MDR. Why does the ship need to stop enforcing their dress code for them? They have other options.

I agree.... so what if you have to wear a suit everyday for your job, apparently you think more of your job than your vacation peeps, I wear PJ everyday for my job at home so I dress up, but I don't say "oh I'm on vacation so tough for you..." Jeez, it isn't the titanic, but it isn't the local pool hall either.

WOW, i must have inadvertently hit a nerve with you. The dressing down on mainstream cruises lines also reflects the downgrade in service and food served in the MDR. While I appreciate the fact the your family dresses up for a meal. However i believe nowadays you are become the shrinking minority.

I for one would wear shorts to the MDR. The only thing stopping me is the AC is usually to cold for me. Different strokes... live and let live.

    God bless...
