We were very close to each other yesterday, had to go to Heathrow to collect a car and drive back to Scotland,

Had same issue on the thirteen night of my first cruise,

When I visited the Caribbean for the thirteen time,

Went to the Crown grill for the thirteen time,

the issue,

I did not want to get to 14 but time does not stand still,

Have been to Norway now a few times, to get the best out of your cruise,

do your home work before you go, there is so much to see and much

history, that if you do not know about will sail right past,

like the giant U boat pens at Trondheim etc

We did Husky camp in June, I posted link to their site, when I spoke to them

they said we could book direct might have been a minimum tour size size,

did they still have puppies :)

Thanks for an excellent live from, having done this cruise this summer it was

fun to do it again with you, our weather was amazing it was such a shame

that you did not get better weather, Norway is expensive as such I find cruising

gives the best value, doing private tours are cheaper but are hard to find

even local tour companies can be expensive.

Have been last to board, we were booked as a package gives us in UK great deal of rights etc were told that ship would wait we were around 4 hours late arriving

ship itself was only a couple of hours past its allotted sailing time,

however once we had a flight change that meant we could not do same day flight, so Princess had to fly us to England day before hotel, taxi, new flights

all costs met by Princess

Have done a few chefs tables on board Emerald, executive chef giuseppe pollard

apart from being an excellent chef is a great showman and does one of the best chefs tables.

Princess has the ability to make such a mess of the celebrity chef, restaurant

dining thing, while P&0 just keep coming up with new things be it chefs, onboard cooking classes, tv shows etc,

so whoever is the person P&0 at the top needs to be moved higher up the group

to over see food stuff and fix Princess

and get rid of the person

who thought Curtis Stone was a good idea

who thought getting rid of our favourites was a good idea

and bring back the cobbler to the crown grill

Welcome to cruise critic,

depending where in the world you are travelling taking your passport off ship can be unsafe,

some places require you to carry id so driving licence is OK for this,

what you can do is photo copy your passport should you every get left behind

having a copy of your information just helps get you new documents,

as to your stuff the ship will often unload your stuff and give to port agent,

so if going ashore take copy of patter with you so you know who agent is,

if you know you are going to be a few minutes late call ship,agent port etc,

Sorry to hear the weather was not playing the game does it know you are on vacation,

when we were there it was amazing they were selling bikinis down town folks were sitting out in the streets eating ice cream,

the islands are beautiful the seas the sands etc,

weather back home is having a mini heat wave so as you head south you should find some sun.

We find Norway very expensive, as such cruising is such good value when it comes to touring Norway,

this is one cruise we will repeat in a few years, as there is just so much to see

and do,
