I see cruise ships are missing out Nice, feel sorry for folks who might never get the chance to visit this part of the world again, but its for the best, Nice does not need thousands of tourists today,

No reason why private tours should not get access, sites are popular, if a

number of ships in at same time which does not happen often, may be a

bit of queuing, would be happy to go with local tour guide, we did, saw

so much.

Was looking at TA for next year but we all know air fares can be a deal breaker

so when I was quoted £159 I was a little shocked OK there is no meal, baggage

restrictions, only a few flights per week etc but at this price I could fly out a

week early and a weeks Caribbean cruise

On my last few cruises due to such high numbers of elites they have held us in one off dining rooms and put us away in groups, no big issues, just a small wait,

as to non elites they had quite a wait behind Princess tours, Elites, and then a filtering of other passengers

At Edinburgh you can take the train if fit to walk up the steps,

if a big line for return tenders head to the pub across the road :D

When we did a year back Normandy we wanted to see Commonwealth Graves and Pegasus Bridge,

Overland were not much help but found another company who were more

than happy to go to non US sites first, can not recall there name but have

similar web site. with 4 standard tours then custom tours.

Do not get your hopes up to much, we did Royal maiden and expected something special and got a normal cruise.

As to Majestic we have the chance of 5 days on her or 14 on Crown for same money, so no contest Crown wins,
