  1. Not sailed with P&O yet. Which airlines do they use for the flight/cruises. We would depart from Birmingham? Thanks in advance.
  2. A useful site is Whatsinport.com it covers most cruise ports and gives out a lot of useful info.
  3. That's a nice memento RR, Beats a fridge Magnet hands down.😊 Keep well.
  4. Exactly this, We are not here long enough to worry about what someone else is or isn’t doing, Just get on with your own life. Be happy you are on your holidays.😎 πŸ‘
  5. For our last cruise which was early May we had to carry out the Chronomics lateral flow test after 9 pm on the night before our flight. Not sure if timings for test has changed but instructions are in the test kit box. You will get your negative test certification back pretty much instantly as soon as you upload your negative result. (as long as you do test negative hopefully) Dont worry about it it really is easy and explained step by step.
  6. Have a word with your GP. You may be able to pay to have it done as a private vaccination. Not sure if this is possible but worth asking.
  7. Don't want to see haory knobbly knees and god forbid sandals and socks. πŸ™ˆ So how do you get on during the day? There are loads of them.(and that's just the women)πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  8. 3) Is there a dress code onboard my Marella Cruise? The onboard dress code varies for each restaurant, but you can easily break it down into Beachwear, Casual and Smart. The first is a 'come as you are' affair, so bikinis and trunks get the thumbs up, plus we ask that you wear something on your feet for safety reasons. Meanwhile, Casual speaks for itself - we're talking tops and shorts or a sundress. Then you've got Smart, which is when you'll need to dress up a bit. Put your sportswear away, and opt for trousers, smart tailored shorts or a skirt or dress, a shirt or polo shirt and smart shoes, so no trainers or flip flops. If you want to add a jacket or tie, that's completely up to you. But our Dress to Impress nights give you the chance to get really suited and booted. Each of our of our restaurants has a different dress code but don't worry we'll always let you know onboard. From the TUI brochure.😘
  9. This just shows that this horrible virus is still about, Hoping you all recover completely and quickly.
  10. It’s does defy logic when they are prepared to do that.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Also they have no problem putting extra pax in rooms that they sell normally for double occupancy.
  11. Hi Dave. Did you manage to get a solo balcony cabin? Good news that you have got booked.πŸ‘ Keep well.
  12. Hi Jim. Lucky you, The worst part of the whole TUI cruise experience is actually getting to the embarkation port. First of all you have whatever the uk airport decides to throw at you, we have travelled from Birmingham airport twice this year and the last time I was wondering if it was worth all of the hassle. The TUI flights are always pretty much guaranteed to be delayed for some reason, And once on the aircraft it’s pot luck regarding comfortable seats.old aircraft are the worst and the uk fleet seems to have the pick of them. The only light at the end of the tunnel is the cruise that you are heading towards. Rant overπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚ Keep well.
