  1. Could well be a glich. The TUI site is very flakey at the best of times.🤦🏻‍♂️ Keep well.😉
  2. This link is Discovery specific, if you click on the month it will give you the sailing dates. https://www.cruisetimetables.com/cruise-ship-marella-discovery.html
  3. Hi Graham. This link will give you info on upcoming trips.👍 https://www.cruisetimetables.com/marella-cruises-2023.html
  4. I am watching this topic with great interest. (We have an upcoming Canaries trip in December) any info regarding the questionnaire appreciated.🤒
  5. Did you just mention FB ?🤦🏻😳😂😂
  6. Trying to log in on this site has become so difficult lately. I am wondering if this is the reason that there aren’t many new posts in the last couple of days.
  7. Hi Jim. been on Explorer quite a few times, As cliff said they are in the bedside lamps in the junior suites. In the balcony cabins we have never seen them so we take a UK multi plug and a eu adapter and that does the trick. Have a great trip both.😉
  8. Not completely related but we take a photo of our passport details page and keep it in our phone just in case.
  9. Hi Fife. We have just kept the negative results email on the phone and printed out a copy same as all of the other Docs. We find that paper copies are easier to manage at the airport/ port. Keep well.
  10. Hi Nancy. I didn’t see your response tagged on the bottom of Jim’s post, the smiley was in response to him.🤦🏻‍♂️ In response to insurance it must be age related because we managed to get worldwide cover without problems two years ago all medical conditions accepted for sub £300. Keep well.
  11. Sorry to hear that Dave. My Wife had Covid a few weeks ago with the exact same symptoms that you have stated she fortunately wasn’t too Ill …..in her words “like a summer cold” Hope you recover soon. look after yourself.😉
  12. Not sure on this. We are looking at the Canaries trips but I can’t find any info regarding the pre travel fit to fly/ boarding tests for Gran Canaria or Tenerife. I will keep on digging. Keep well.😉
  13. With testing required before flying, I'm not sure I'd want to book very late. Thats a good call Howmuch, I hadn’t factored in the time required to order and receive the testing kits.👍 I would think that a couple of weeks notice would be ample to get them sorted. Keep well.
  14. We had a fortnight around the canaries which we booked late January 2020, The trip was the second week in February onwards. It was one of those that we weren’t intending to do but the price was too good to miss we had a junior suite for the price of a balcony. At the moment we are looking at a couple of weeks in the canaries late November,December or early January I won’t be booking until last minute regardless. The transatlantic trip in December is at a cracking price but unfortunately the insurance will cost as much as I would be paying for the cruise.🤷‍♂️
  15. Hi Jim Sorry if I worded it wrong but it should read read Vax proof digital or paper. The spTH form was withdrawn in April according to this. 🤷‍♂️ Keep well. Travel to Spain just got easier - the latest on the SpTH Health Check Form By Paul Johnson on Apr 06, 2022 in Europe, Health & Safety, Regions, Spain, Travel Miscellany, There’s good news for travellers to Spain! From today, the SpTH Health Check Form is no longer needed to enter Spain for all passengers, regardless of their country of departure, who have an EU Digital COVID Certificate (or EU equivalent) of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative certificate of a diagnostic test for active infection or a certificate of recovery after having passed this disease. Children under 12 years of age and those in international transit are exempt of this requirement.
  16. They are probably getting rid of all of their stock before the Greek government drop the testing requirement.😲😉
  17. Hi Jim. Thats not too bad the NHS vaccination proof certs are just download and print, The Spanish spTH form was a bit of a bind to fill in especially if you were going on a cruise holiday. Hopefully normal service is slowly being resumed.🤞🏻 Keep well.
  18. Great news, another hour faffing about with government forms out of the way.👍
  19. Hi.MIB. Yes crossed lines I think.🤦🏻‍♂️ In the bars and lounges the drinks waiters never keep you waiting for long when your glass is empty, they really are good. Keep well.
  20. The waiting staff that serve your dinner also serve your wine, Pre ordering isn’t necessary. The main dining room is anytime dining so you won’t know your table number until you turn up.😉
  21. Here's hoping you have a great trip Dave.👍 Keep well.😉
  22. Hi Dave. Not sure about Gatwick, at Birmingham it’s pretty much as you have described it but we don’t scan our passport at the self serve bag drop just the boarding pass, After weighing the case the labels are printed and attached to the bags and the case is put onto the belt we then go to the adjacent TUI check in desks where they check our passport and boarding pass and then we go to through to security. Last time at Birmingham there was TUI staff who check all necessary documents while we were in the queue, also there are staff milling about near the scales to assist where needed. Keep well.
