  1. Sorry for the broken up email on those last four pics. For some reason when I screenshot that email on my iPad, I can’t get it to post. It fails to upload each time so I did it from my phone. I was disappointed that this happened, but I learned my lesson. I won’t be paying in advance for an excursion unless it’s through the cruise line. From reading the email from Ed it sounds like someone has purchased the business because it says they can’t deduct my money from his future payments without his permission. Wording is strange. Good luck if you decide to go. It looks like a fun excursion. Amanda
  2. I’m going to do a couple of pics so you can see the conversation.
  3. That was an interesting read. Thanks for the post.
  4. https://boards.cruisecritic.com.au/topic/1849613-my-very-first-cruise-my-photo-review-aboard-the-carnival-fantasy-oct-1-6-2013/ This guy wrote some funny stuff but if I remember correctly he never finished the Victory review.
  5. The one who traveled with her father was named Brianna, but I don’t remember her full screen name. Edited to say I think the screen name was wrigley.
  6. Thank you so much for posting. I had been checking frequently under the excursions area but it didn’t show up at all. I just checked categories then FTTF and there it was available for purchase.
  7. Just a heads up, if you booked and paid for an excursion thru Ken Gerber, he is no longer in business according to an email I received. I cancelled my May excursion and cruise a few days before Carnival officially cancelled. My work had a new rule requiring a 14 day quarantine for any nurse traveling out of the country. I contacted Aruba Bob and we agreed on a 50% cancellation fee. I contacted him again in April when I did not receive a credit back for the other half. He replied he could not return my money at this time but I could rebook the excursion for another time. Can I dispute a charge against a company that is no longer in business? I had travel insurance too but not sure if that would cover this situation.
  8. Thanks so much for that. We mainly cruise Carnival but I may need to branch out. I love no sea days.
  9. Please tell me which ship and date are you sailing with 6 ports. We did one previously and would love to do another. Here is a link to my review of our 6 port sailing on the fascination. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2549488-ayrin-amber-and-maddie-on-a-fascinating-cruise-may-27-2018/?tab=comments#comment-54951471
  10. I’ve had a Ricardo two wheel case for 15 ish years. Eventually bought a Ricardo 4 wheel spinner and love it. Easier to maneuver usually, but occasionally depending on the carpet, I have to lay it back and use as a two wheel. Also bought my stepdaughter a 4 wheel spinner for Christmas two years ago and she loves it. I’m going to attach a photo because it is so pretty.
  11. On the stingray city website, it has Laviscount Island listed as a possible combination. Does anyone have any thoughts on this excursion? I can’t find any information other than their site. Thank you, Amanda
  12. On the Breeze, we bought 2 orders of the crab cakes, 1lb crab legs, a lobster roll, and 3 pounds steamed shrimp. We did not like the crab cakes at all. I’m not one to complain but I had to take them back. The manager deleted the charges. The rest was delicious. We plan to get the same thing one night on our Horizon cruise in May but we will avoid the crab cakes.
  13. My teen and her friends love going to the kids club. Towards the end of the last cruise, several girls from the club complained to the counselor about a creepy older guy hanging around the entrance area and making nasty comments. After receiving the complaint, there was a security guard posted in the hallway just outside of the clubs. I was glad to see Carnival took their concerns seriously.
  14. You and wheels87 sound just like me. My DD also has a friend traveling with us each year . We’ve taken 4 different ones so far and will take a new one this year. I require they send me a pic of passport beforehand. We did cancel one girl because the parents wouldn’t get the passport. I also do a passport check the night before we leave, after getting into the car to head to airport., and before leaving the hotel to head to port. They laugh at me. I tell them it will be a lot easier to know where the passport might be if I know where we saw it last.
  15. So I tried some of the suggestions. The video smaller could not support the AVI files. The phone drive and VLC player were both easy to use thru iTunes to add the files. Once on the phone drive, I could not save the video to the photo gallery or do anything except view it. With VLC, I could save or send a good portion of the files but not all of them. My fix for this was to send all the VLC videos to the cloud (which was quick) then use the iCloud website to upload the other videos that the VLC couldn’t handle (which was a slow process). I really appreciate y’all taking the time to help me find a solution. Thank you. Amanda
  16. Thanks for all the new responses. The photos sync quickly without issue regardless of what camera I used. I have an SD card reader to easily upload camera photos to the phone but it doesn’t even show the videos to upload. The main reason for having the videos on the iPhone is to share with teenage daughter. She uses some type of software to make videos and tiktoks. A lot of her friends are in the videos throughout the years so she would like to share them too. I will try some of these suggestions over my Christmas break.
