We are trying it out for the first time on the Fantasy in 3 weeks. I like the idea of prioriry boarding and having the room ready, plus the priority guest services line. Will let you know what we think

I'm on the Oct 23rd sailing. I've got to decide this week..... choices choices...

Has anyone done FTTF for the Fantasy in Charleston? I'm still torn on getting it. $50 for my girlfriend and I doesn't seem too bad. I'd be nice to get on ASAP and be able to drop off all of our carry on bags. Any recommendations/advice?

Our shuttle leaves from the Radisson to head to the pier at 10:30am..THIS MORNING!!! YAY!

For the OP.... I'm taking the Fantasy on the 5 days to the Bahamas on the 23rd with my girlfriend and another couple. We are in our late 20s early 30s and like to drink and have a good time. What would you recommendation be for stuff to do in Nassau and Freeport?

Getting close to the sail date. I decided to switch rooms from a 6B room M265 to a 6D room U157. I feel much better about this room selection.

It is nice to have a regular cruise ship in Charleston, admittedly my previous trips on carnival have been subpar. Leaving from Charleston and the price are the two reasons we are taking this cruise. A nice 5day get away with another couple, i'm actually really looking forward to trying carnival again. After looking at pictures of the stern of the Fantasy I noticed that M265 is right above some machinery spaces. I might just try to upgrade to a different room.

That's for the replies... I suppose we can always switch rooms before sailing. I'm not prone to motion sickness at all but I am a bit concerned about noise and vibration. Regardless, it's a quick get away from my home port. Can't wait.

Just booked my first carnival cruise in years. Doing the Fantasy out of CHS... Obviously... Booked a aft facing ocean view on Main deck. How are those rooms?

While some may choose to paint all service on RCCL ships as exceptional, our experience over the years is that this is not so. Even tho the vast majority of service personnel are in fact praiseworthy, on occasion we have had some that were at best poor. It is illogical to reward those bad with a gratuity which is given for good service provided.

Too much common sense for this board.

Does anyone know about the hot tubs?

We never heard anything from above and out balcony door would not seal correctly for the first 2 nights. After maintenance came and fixed our door it was quiet has could be. The only thing I didn't like about our location was there was a mini sort of "hump" and you couldn't see anything aft.
