I recently had success with the reverse switching from West coast to East coast. I looked up what cruises I had interest in and had plenty of available rooms left then called and simply asked would those cruises qualify for the offer. After a brief hold I was told yes, selected the one I wanted most, picked my room and the booking was made. I echo what others have said in it all depends on who you get and the availability of the sailing at the time you inquire. Good luck!

I think you are onto something with the Edge class ship design being the issue. We experienced the same on Edge recently and just thought there was a troop of acrobats or herd of elephants above us. LOL! Seriously though there was so much noise day and night we thought we were going to loose it several times. Guess sleep deprivation does that to you! Between the banging, infinite balcony noises, and creaking/popping walls we didn't sleep more than a few hours at most per night if we were lucky. This also explains why Guest Services who kept "investigating the source of noise" never came up with a reason or solution. This makes me hesitant to book any other Edge Class ship...

Were recently back and I wanted to follow up with how much we loved this excursion and best part NO motion issues. I also wanted to report how one guest in a wheelchair faired. It took several attempts for them to get her on the boat both at port then again for the Pigeon Island stop. Since there was no dock and people went down the ladder into the sea for our other stop she was only able to sit and watch. Getting back on the boat was quite the challenge even for completely mobile guest. One other note this excursion did include lunch for everyone so I am not sure if they had another boat for the non lunch option or if you were given incorrect information. Best wishes!

Just back from Antigua and wanted to say Lawrence of Antigua is awesome! He was waiting for us as promised with a sign when we got off the ship. He then had his driver come round who quickly responded in his clean private van and off we went. He even arrived early to pick us up at the end of the day. Mr. Lawrence does the tours himself and customizes them to your preference. I have heard his tours are great and this is what we plan to do next time we visit Antigua.

Curious what your take on Turner's Beach is. Do you recommend?

Do you recall the cab fee? I have recently been quoted $25 per person total (with 4 or more) to Turner's beach then back to the port at the end of the day. Can't remember but about 4 years ago I want to say it was more like $10pp but I could be wrong...

Yes! We found that great spot and a someone to snap our pic. You will love it!

I'm on Edge next week and would love feedback on the Specialty and Main Dining. Have you by chance eaten in Eden for Dinner? Heard they have a different menu and would love to see it if possible since it is not online. Thanks

I'm booked on this one next week but am anxious about motion sickness after being told the sea is rough there. Did you experience this? Also, what did they serve for lunch and was alcohol included? Thanks!

Do you have or can you snap a pic of the Eden dinner menu? I have heard they changed it but am wondering if it is worth the fee. Also, what has been your experience on this sailing with specialty restaurants? Wondering what is worth the money and if there have been any specials offered you are aware of. Thanks!

Even if the excursion is at capacity and you get stuck in the crowd, it is still worth seeing! When people start lining up to listen to instructions step to the right side of the group closest to the trail then watch the leader so you can fall in behind them first. Once you get to Devil's Beach there will be a place you can get a drink and relax. Again, being at the front of the group gets you more chill time! Also, don't miss out on the Top of the Baths restaurant/bar on your way out for some nice photo ops and another beverage or two. LOL!!

Unfortunately, prices on everything have gone up but on a bright note... You should be able to get a 5-10% discount with your Captains Club benefits on the Bev pkg upgrade. I got 20% off when I asked with both CC member and Celebrity Credit card holder discounts.

Any idea why Fine Cut Steakhouse is now not being offered on night three? I was told the first sea day both at the beginning and end of our trip would be the Evening Chic nights so that wouldn't be the reason.

I'm on Edge next week and my app only shows the $4.95 late night fee. Will be interesting to see for myself what changes I have read about are actually in effect yet.

Good point! I forgot we took a dry bag with the bare minimum. It worked nicely and functioned as a cool flotation device while I snorkeled.

We enjoyed the Celebrity excursion to the Baths so much the first time we did it again with our son and his wife on our next cruise. I am sure it will be a little more expensive and of course you will be on a timeline however, it is still worth it I feel. If I can offer a few tips... sit on the top deck of the shuttle boat and be among the first in line to go thru the tour. Down in the lower level the diesel smell and motion were a bit much. Also, if you aren't in the front of the pack there will be delays from people struggling to get thru at the ladder and tight spots which cuts into your time on the beach. Have a great time!

Thanks for providing great information! I am on the next sailing after you and am driving in from Virginia arriving early boarding day. Can you give any insight on boarding processes? They don't have us scheduled to board until 1-1:30 and I'm specifically wondering how strictly that is enforced. I hate the thought of sitting around that long... Also, what dining venues are available when you board? Any other tips and tricks for the Edge are appreciated. Have a great cruise!!
