  1. Sorry about that... my children are 6,7,8 so I probably wouldn't do a cabin across the hall until they are older. I'm good with connecting cabins if it fits my budget.
  2. Wow, thanks so much everyone! All the information and pictures were incredibly helpful, I took a few screen shots so I can look back on the info when I need to. I have to say, I asked the same question in the boards for the other cruise lines and I got a lot of judgement and unhelpful suggestions, you guys were the nicest by far!
  3. That's helpful information, I'm definitely looking at all ships! We just went on a Royal Caribbean and all fit into a balcony room, it was fine! Won't be when they are teens for sure but right now it's great
  4. 😄 🤣 We are used to squeezing in!
  5. Yes I agree with you there about the bathrooms. However it's better for us to be in the same room for the kids sail free deal, that way all the kids are free instead of just 1 being free.
  6. I ended up finding a obstructed view balcony room on deck 9. The obstructed view was a tiny ladder on one corner of the balcony so the view was completely fine. The room had a queen (or king?) Bed, a Pullman and a double pull out couch
  7. I usually check out the price for connecting cabins and one room together. And your right the prices vary. I do find one room is usually cheaper though, depending on the cruise
  8. Hello! I have not sailed with Celebrity yet, but I'm looking for information on cabins that fit 5 people. Does Celebrity have these? I know sometimes people with a larger family will book connecting rooms but I feel like the cost can be more that way. We just sailed on Royal Caribbean in a balcony room and it worked great. Any information is helpful!

  12. Hello! We have a family of 5 and recently went to Alaska on Brilliance. We were able to get an obstructed balcony that fit all 5 of us. I'm just curious what other RC ships have cabins that fit 5? I know Enchantment has one spacious inside that fits 5 also. The main reason I'm asking is because when RC has the Kids Sail Free deal, I want to be able to book a room we all fit in so I can get that deal. Any tips on what ships have these larger rooms is much appreciated!
  13. Thank you, that's helpful. I will post in the individual cruise line boards as well to see if anyone has any other information 😀
  14. Hello! I have been trying to research which ships have rooms that fit 5 people. I feel like I'm getting conflicting answers, so I'm wondering if anyone has some information? I'm looking for any line, any ship. Ive discovered that some of the ships have extra spacious inside that fits 5 and some have obstructed balcony that fits 5 so its not always under "Family Cabin". Hoping for a list so I can plan a family cruise and have all 5 of us in the same room. Any tips helps! Thanks

  16. My RC app has been saying that my check in is April 5 (today) but when I went onto my app, it said check in was closed? So I tried to find check in on the Royal website but can't seem to find it... any tips?
  17. Hello! I live near Prince Rupert.... It is quite a small town, but right where the ship docks is called Cow Bay and has some lovely shops. There are also amazing seafood restaurants (Dolly's is our fave) and a new brewery that's just opened. There is a canning museum in Port Edward that is interesting and tells a lot about the history of the area. You can do whale watching and bear watching excursions. If you like hiking, there are some beautiful trails in the area, two are Butze falls/ Butze rapids if you like waterfalls. Of you are able to hire a car, 2 hours drive from Rupert up the Nass Valley are some tourist stops- The Peeing Tree (haha) Lava Lake, Nass Hot Springs, Nass Valley Lava Beds, and Rosswood General Store. Lots of hiking in that area as well. Hope that helps a bit??? Cheers
  18. Sorry I should have been more specific, I used to be able to get on Carnival ships in Vancouver and sail to Alaska and Hawaii, but that's stopped since covid. Is that no longer going to happen?
  19. Hi everyone, Sorry if this question has been asked before and I missed it... Is Carnival planning on using Canada as a port again or not? And if no, does anyone know the reason? Thanks!
